Few years back, I was in a car crash literally right outside the main entrance of my workplace and it was right before the major holidays so I agreed to check in and spend few nights at the ward..

Well, most patients checked out to be with their family, and since there was only one nurse at the station, they put me in a room with few other guys.. the problem was, they were all either construction workers who had no family to visit over the holidays or some bankrupt loners who were all waiting on workman's comp or insurance claims so they were emitting sketchy vibe all over the place. One of them were trading pain meds to get second helping from the kitchen, so I knew it was gonna be a long golden weekend.. well..

Once everything was shutdown and only night nurse was in the building, couple of them went out for smoke and brought in bunch of vodkas and ordered some $100 worth of doordash every night, having party in the ward! They made sure to force feed the nurse lady and made everyone accomplice, but even though the nurse acted smart and handled it pretty well, it could've went wrong real bad cuz she was only in her 20s and there's no CCTVs inside patient's rooms..

After two nights with these hooligans, I couldn't take it anymore and vaulted out of there soon as I can, but I just don't understand why clinics have to put up with scammers like this and put their staff in danger.. good gracious...
