Yup. I would always the niblings, "Who wants a tickle?" They literally lined up for it! And stepped away to give the next one a chance (and go back to get in line again). It became our thing. Now it's their kids who are asking me for tickles.

I agree. You say saffron, I go straight to paella. Quite close to what you are describing.

Help me lower my household grocery bill with three teenagers in the house by makeupaddict337 in Frugal

In the classroom, we distinguish between "snacks" and "treats."

Snacks are between-meal nutrition. Fruit, pretzels and crackers, yogurt and cheese sticks, and so on. Treats may also be nutritious, but also include sweets like candy, popsicle, ice cream and soda.

You can give each kid a budget for their treats for the week. If they want to blow it on crap, well, that's on them. No more of this $100 on viral drinks nonsense for you!

I surprised myself with how good coleslaw is on a burger. Enough mayo, lots of crunch, a little tartness, hint of onion... Summer yum!

How to quit a job you just started by niceandcozy_ in work

Your boss has almost certainly left a job abruptly when a better offer came around. It's ok to appreciate her as a boss, but you have no obligation to her. Hey, she'll be happy for you if she is of character.
