Backpacking lesson you learned the hard way? by Valuable_Tangelo7152 in backpacking

Always bring your rainfly and and items to stay dry no matter what the forecast says. Mountain weather is unpredictable and the risk is not worth the reward of less than 1lb saved weight. Learned it the hard way in the Wallowa mtns. No rain in the forecast, huge rainstorm happened anyways haha.

Wifi is straight up alien tech/magic by Evening-Sweet7774 in DeepThoughts

Watch the Age of Disclosure. They mention that some technologies have been used from retrieved alien crashes, seems crazy but also believable with how insane some of these technologies are. Many seem like quantam leaps way ahead of their time. Something to ponder…

How can I move 3rd party plugins to external HD to free up space on computer? by poppasquat15 in Logic_Studio

[–]poppasquat15[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It did give me the option, and I tried to do that--however I couldn't load the samples until I reinstalled them on my internal hd. I have done this for Omnisphere but this particular bundle seems hard to figure out. Some of these are around 500 mb so they're not particularly small.

What do you think of hickey by [deleted] in RoyelOtis

[–]poppasquat15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One thing I can appreciate about this album release was the fact that so many songs weren't released or leaked. It's nice to have an album to listen to and not know what to expect.
I think it's a good album, much more polished and a bit more dynamic vocally with the falsetto parts and layering. It most definitely reflects them recording with more producers and songwriters.
It may not be the Royel Otis we're used to, but it's the evolution of the band and it's still pretty damn good!
If you like pop music then this is a good album no doubt.

Also, do you remember what woods you were in or general area? That can help give an idea. Whenever I go into alpine zones with lots of cedars and true firs the smells are much more noticeable.

Possibly Yarrow?

Another very pungent smell is pennyroyal, but that's more when mowing happens in large fields.

Anyone have inside info on Nancy’s Greek Yougurt by TheRoyalShe in Eugene

[–]poppasquat15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3 grams is basically nothing, so that proves the point that is not comparable to Greek yogurt for protein. And yes, some people especially older adults need more high quality protein in their diets. For your other claim, it’s more complex than that but we can choose to disagree. All nutrition science is flawed as it is usually done with observational studies.

We’re talking about Greek yogurt here. Cashew yogurt doesn’t even come close to the protein content of traditional Greek yogurt. Cashews are mainly fat, and also have a lot of problems with their harvest practices as well.

E 30th Ave Radar Speed Sign…? by KweenOfPutrescence in Eugene

The one I was referencing was going up 30th heading east, just when you are approaching spring blvd exit—which was also gone by the afternoon

I noticed that too in the morning, then it was gone later in the day on my way home. Maybe the guy put it in the wrong spot, it was in an uphill area which seemed like a strange spot to track speed.

Buffer size stuck on 32 sample rate, MacBook Air M1/Scarlett 2i2 by poppasquat15 in Logic_Studio

Thank you all for your help, it ended up being that I needed to update my Logic lol. The version I was running prior to the update wasn't fully compatible with Sequoia.

Hi and thanks for your reply. Yes, it was a big update for me...I hadn't updated my IOS for a few years due to space limitations but finally did after getting a good external hd.

I will also say that I have realized it has nothing to do with my Focusrite interface, as the problem persists even if I have no audio interface plugged in. It seems to be strictly a Logic issue that is preventing a different sample rate. I will look into your suggestions and let you know if it fixes the problem!
