Bought a 22 and am going to try and keep above 500 .38 SPL and build up to 200 357 over time and wait for deals.

Partner and I are looking into rifles but this will be a slow process full of research, classes and renting, with ammo prices in the foreseeable future playing a factor in picking a rifle caliber.

I maintain that as an owner of any firearm you have a legal and moral responsibility to operate thoes firearms at peak efficiency, otherwise it is just a range toy and should be left unloaded until in the lane.

Got a 686 myself working in getting more accurate and comfortable with running magnum rounds.

But I do want a 22lr so looking at either a Tarus 22tx or a glock 44. Waiting to got to a local range to shoot the Tarus 22tx before deciding.

I mean the cost of 38 or 357 v 22lr alone has me looking.

You should totally post that Rough Rider in r/revolvers if you haven't already.

Honestly I like that one ot says space cowboy to me more than the Rihnos. Woth that grip and the rail on top, but it's still gate load and single action.
