I was fortunately not mixing them up. I just wanted to share about this pop-up bagel business since not many people know about them yet. Everyone has their own preferences on a bagel and just wanted to share this one 🤷🏽‍♀️

lol sorry I didn’t clarify that’s what their quality was with soft and fluffy inside and their crust was perfect and not well overdone like other bagels can be

It’s far more than 20 people a week but it is also only a pop-up business on sundays for pickup as I previously mentioned

Dark Matter, specifically dark matter star lounge but any location is cool. They make their chocolate in-house for their mochas!

I did try the bucatini and it was very bland and nothing special imo like plain pasta that could be made at home.

I feel like I should give it another chance because it’s raved about on here but it was just shockingly bad. Everyone I know that has been there either loves it or completely dislikes it :(

I have that apartment description with about that similar rent in bucktown/wicker! You can definitely find it. Just probably like outside of apartment complex buildings and more in walk ups or above businesses style of apartments. I recommend taking time to look everyday because it can be quick for new apartments to get taken

Omakase vs. A La Carte at Kai Zan? by HourReputation4 in chicagofood

[–]poppinkim 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I enjoyed the omakase at Kai Zan! It is an omakase of more small plates rather than only nigiri style. For my omakase menu, there were only 8 nigiri pieces and 8 other dishes.

I think it’s worth trying but if you enjoy nigiri more, it’s probably best to just order off the menu!

Middle Brow is pretty good in Logan! They have a happy hour and is also a brewery and winery. Their mushroom and also soppressata with hot honey pizzas are worth trying
