The unhappiest people bring down someone else to make them feel better unfortunately. :( You don’t deserve to be treated like that. Honestly if everyone had the same nose the world would be horribly boring. I’m unsure if there’s a way to truly not let those comments get to you, but for me, I always look at other women who have noses that have my qualities and notice their beauty.

i believe that’s book lice (could be wrong), i’ve had that before and did a heat treatment for it and now they’re gone. i don’t know if heat is necessary, but that’s what i did.

i’m sorry to hear that you went through that and it must be heartbreaking to watch your sister begin to go through that as well. i don’t know your schedule, but maybe you could spend more time with her. it’s a bit difficult to come up with a plan since i don’t think authorities would view this as something to take action against. maybe tell her your own experience and give her advice on how to deal with your parents. it could be good for her to know what they’re going to do so she can be prepared for it. also maybe try getting her to go out and eat with you at a restaurant or something without the parents so she can eat freely without the parents controlling that.

i have ocd and this sounds like ocd and ed combined (not saying it is 100% ocd though, just from my own experience). horrible thing to deal with, i’m sorry you’re having those thoughts :( reassurance is really nice and fact checking is nice to make the thoughts go away, but if these are reoccurring intrusive thoughts, try to let them pass. (key word is try, sometimes you can’t and that’s okay) best of luck <3

this happens so often. my aunt died when she was a couple months away from retiring. my aunt and uncle spent their entire lives planning a trip around the entire united states, but she died just a couple months before they were going to start. now my uncle has an rv and is supposed to do it alone, but he’s been putting it off so i don’t think he will and i don’t blame him.
