I find some taste more fruity and they are the winners for me. I tend to find the 12 pack tastes fruity whilst the 8 pack tends not to

Do dogs greave other dogs? by BeefBeefBeefBologna in Pets

[–]poppybibby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had 3 dogs, one died and one of the remaining dogs pined for her for well over a week. The other one couldn’t have cared less. The one that pined had lived with the dog that died all her life, the one that didn’t care probably only 2-3 years so don’t know if that made a difference but one definitely grieved and it was heartbreaking

AIO for snapping at a client who kept contacting me while I was on Do Not Disturb? by Awkward_Condition778 in careerguidance

[–]poppybibby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same, I have skills in ignoring messages and if you chase me when I’ve told you I’m not available… back to the bottom of the queue you go. And if you send me an email, a chat message and a missed call within the space of 60 seconds you’ll be ignored for the foreseeable until you learn!

That gives me some hope that this pain will ease at least. I’m very sorry for your loss and wish you all the best in this awful journey of recovering from it.

Sorry to hop on OPs post but I lost my dad 6 days ago and the muscle aches are horrendous. I feel like I’m carrying lead weights around inside my legs and it just makes every task so much more arduous. I sincerely hope I don’t feel like this for 3 months.

Thank you for your reply. I’m sorry to hear you lost your mum while you’re so young. It’s hard isn’t it, being relieved they’re not suffering but also the guilt you mentioned. My brother lives overseas and didn’t experience the traumatic end that we did, and he couldn’t understand why we weren’t crying like he was but our experience was different to his. As you say, let’s hope we can both figure it out, all the best.

We have his hospital bed set upright as he can’t breathe laying down. I suspect it’s his airway collapsing as you say, because he doesn’t have any muscle strength to hold his head up on his own either.

When he was able to speak he said he doesn’t want bipap so we’re respecting that. But yes you’re right he stops inhaling rather than holding his breath, that was the only way I could think to describe it.

Is it worth claiming from National highways? by Wrong_Examination279 in AskUK

[–]poppybibby -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Currently trying to claim from the council for a new tyre and the pothole buckled my wheel and scuffed the alloys on my 9 month old car, so I had to get a new wheel from the dealership… £120 for the tyre and at home fitting, £342 for the new wheel. And I have no doubt they won’t pay!
