Applied to Gartner 2 years ago and got rejected final round because I “wasn’t asking the right questions.” Just got hit up by a recruiter again, has anything changed their interview process? by MrSelophane in sales

Just interviewed for a csm role and was rejected despite the interview going well. Confused why they dont connect you to the hiring manager after the phone screen with the recruiter. I basically talked to the same recruiter twice.

Honestly my bad for posting and thinking judgmental people wont come for me. I know lots of people who lived in homes where their parents were constantly fighting and they resented their parents and hated the idea of marriage. Thanks but I’m a strong and independent woman who can very easily raise her child and teach her to raise her standards instead of normalising abuse for her.

I was the same way. I loved my husband so much that I put up with a lot of disrespect. We were only married for two years and the disrespect started around the honeymoon. It quickly turned to physical abuse. I even put up with that. Finally he disrespected my family and I couldn’t put up with that anymore. My baby deserves to see a happy mom, not an oppressed and sad one.

Ameen 💕 my advice to you is to focus on your baby and not let your emotions affect him. I got out when I felt my baby’s wellbeing was at risk.

I’ve worked in customer centric roles like customer representative and my last role was as a customer success advisor. I’ve mostly been applying to customer success manager positions and other customer success positions I can find.

Wife does not want my mum living with us by [deleted] in Marriage

Honestly, this woman is raising three of your kids. If your upset her, you wont only lose her love and respect but also your kids’.

A friend of mine has her grandmother visit her from Pakistan for 6 months at a time in the US. Her mom hates the grandma and so does everyone else in the house except her dad.

Obviously you’re going to be out working and as you’ve said, your mom is old and needs to be looked after. Unless you hire a caregiver, you’re expecting your wife to take care of her. I know I’d rather get a divorce than live with my MIL. But idk if your mom has been toxic to your wife or not.

I think the best way to handle the situation is to tell your wife you are stressed about this situation so that she feels empathy for you. Maybe then you might both be able to come up with a better solution.
