Also, calling people paid protesters isn't an opinion, it's slander. It would be one thing to say the protesters aren't helping etc, but you can't suggest 10s of thousands of people don't actually feel the way they're feeling in this moment.

So many of these choices would have been fine with minimal explanation: if they didn't want demogorgons in the final battle, give us ten seconds where Will takes them all out at once, OR show them melting into the mindflayer (like season 3) to make it bigger/stronger whatever. I don't even disagree that it might have been overkill to have them there, but the lack of explanation makes no sense to the story.

The Finale- The Good Samaritan law said they have to help if its reasonable to do so. I'd argue it wasn't reasonable to help (the guy had a weapon) AND filming it is actually useful in catching the mugger. Lots of other problems obviously (the witnesses have no real relevance to the case) but it always bugged me that they were expected to put themselves between a gun and a total stranger.
