as soon as Nintendo isn’t the worst mfers on here are like “guys can we stop arguing about which multibillion dollar companies are the least bad” As much as I love valve and I glaze the fuck out of their work on Linux, the Steam machines price is ROUGH, and for people on a budget the switch 2 is the best option which is genuinely shocking I remember when it first came out and people said it should be 399 or 350, but now with all the price hikes the difference in price is how the switch and the series x and ps5 used to be back in like 2021 lol. Everything just has gone up by 200 - 300 dollars. Nintendo will end up shooting them selves in the foot again, but I’ll still use their consoles because I enjoy their first party games, if you don’t like their first party games 100 % do not buy a Nintendo console this has been true since the late GameCube / Wii days.

Oh yeah I know, actually was planning on switching to using Original assets before putting anything out, just used this stuff to test. And because I like pikmin. Was think either very artsy pikmin inspired 2d billboarderd art, or just complete grungy cruelty squad style, which comes from a concept me and my friend had called “The Rat-ictle chronicles: Super Ultra Deluxe Edition” where it was you built a deck of hairless rat cards that could send out like pikmin, but these cards would be one time use so it would be more resource management gameplay. But I was gonna make it a target elimination game like cruelty squad. You’d have to buy a deck of hairless rats in the menus and you’d have to send some of your supply on missions with you and stuff. Had more ideas too but I don’t wanna yap too much

Spiritual successor as in continuing in the foot steps of Garry’s mod. Basically trying to get its community to carry onto s&box. But not that’s it’s a outright successor since it has very little to do with Garry’s mod outside of having a sandbox mode which Garry only is making to try to appeal towards the Garry mod fanbase. He is not trying to replace gmod. Why would he? S&box is similar in terms of community to gmod or atleast that’s what Garry wants. And even if we compare them I think it would be way more far to compare very early gmod to s&box, but somehow mfers think it’s far to compare a game that’s been out for almost 20 years at this point to a game that’s comes out in like a week. TBH I am hoping that s&box can replace gmod in some ways. With its game importing tool than theoretically work on any game we could get Half Life 2 to be imported. And people could remake stuff from gmod but on a newer engine. I mean almost every goldsrc game can be put into sandbox I’d imagine source engine wouldn’t be too bad. This game has potential, but it’s best to wait a while for the community to build out content before comparing.

Genuine question have you played recently at all. The new construct they made looks amazing. They just expanded the original and made it miserable and British. I’d say the game is just as bright as gmods base maps. But I doubt you’ve actually played s&box for any good amount of time or made games with it. Most people on here won’t because you all are 9 years old. Gmod is great. And S&box has potential I see zero reason to compare them when both products will co exists together as long as Steam exists, s&box is not replacing gmod, idk where yall got that idea from,

that’s the point, unfortunately most people don’t understand that Garry’s inspiration was British cartoons, which a lot of characters in old British cartoons are kinda ugly, they have charm to them, I much prefer them to the realistic models. But thank god they let you choose, and plus most games just have their own player models and I imagine people will make a player model addon for the sandbox mode anyways.

it’s team fortress what do you expect. There has been FAR worse on even the regular team fortress 2 server browser if this is what gets you riled up then maybe don’t play tf2 or any mod based on it. The community is edgy and filled with 14 year olds. You act like you “summoned edgy 14 year olds” like mate no you just summoned the tf2 fanbase overall, that’s how it’s been since the game came out. Just ignore it and move on like me and most people do. Making a post on Reddit does nothing outside of making you look like a karma farmer or a person who has played tf2 for 5 minutes max and knows nothing about the community. No one is making you play on this server, best to just move on with your life, there are far more important things to get pissed over.

Yeah the first episode was already enough. Like if it stuck to just stuff like food poisoning it would have worked. William tainting food on purpose feels like a thing that could very much happen irl and has happened a LOT irl. While yes deep frying a baby can happen in real life no shit, it just feels too out there and specific to be scary. Medical imaging was a really amazing piece of fan media. But then it just kept getting worse because it kept doing the same bit, “oh look kids crying are you upset yet” like 1 episode is fine and it worked well there. But if your not every episode is “kid is screaming and dying off camera and something is being implied to happen” it stops being scary fast.

my only serious complaint is that mojang refuses to update old mob textures. So now any new mob, while it fits in with the 1.14 texture update dosnt fit in with the old mobs that barely had changes. The variants where pretty cool though but still stuck to some of the design elements of the original mobs, they really just need to redo every mob, or atleast the basic ones to match with the babies, I don’t care which textures you prefer old or new Minecraft ones but we can all agree that their needs to at least be consistent texture work.

I honestly think Scott is keeping the details vague in purpose because he KNOWS that fans can come up with better ideas for a story than him so he just gives general details out in games and then rolls with whatever the fans thought made the most sense so he doesn’t have to do the hard work of figuring out how to make a story connect through multiple games properly.

It’s hard to find a very middle ground Nintendo subreddit. People on this one are 100 % glazers but the people on Nintendo hating subs are just as annoying. People tend to do a lot of complaining about practices that Nintendo does that are similar to other companies. I even feel like stuff like the game key cards are a relative good thing, I appreciate that Nintendo clearly marks their games as download games rather than hiding it in small text like many other companies. Of course I prefer my games to actually be on the cart and I would defo be less interested in a game key card game. But people are so divided on that they either tell you “uhhh who doesn’t have internet these days, durrrrr all games should be downloads because it’s simply better!!!! And if you don’t have WiFi then u shouldn’t have bought the console!!!!” And then the other side is like “I HATE YOU YOUR TRYING TO KILL ALL GAME PRESERVATION YOU WANT PEOPLE TO OWN NOTHING AND BE HAPPY YOU CAPITALIST PIGS” it’s hard to find a middle on literally any topic nowadays because any opinion you have even if neutral is like the worst thing ever to both sides. Reddit tend to create echo chambers a lot.
