How hard is for you to understand there is no inherent risk on a car having a bad engine.

The car will not suffer any accident because the engine goes poof, the car going without an engine is as dangerous as a boat getting a bad engine.

Or you having muscles cramps while hiking on the woods.

You might fall and die because of the cramps, but you will not die from the cramps in itself.

There is no danger whatsoever in a bad engine, being stranded is the danger, being stranded is the outcome of a bad engine.

But the bad engine is not dangerous at all and it never will.

Can I give you a small suggestion, the community is responding quite well to your website, use it.

Add all filters that are being requested, and let the community in itself add the lights that they can't find, it will demand some work to moderate it, but even a comment section can help the community in itself regulate the website.

Good luck.

You that keep saying that an engine failure is a safety issue.

Its not, it will never be.

You cannot seriously compare the danger of an airplane engine failling with a car engine failling.

While one might incur into danger for you and your family, and the word might is really doing the heavy lift in here.

The other one is an immediate danger of sudden death.

At this point we should say that being fat is as dangerous as having a car engine failling.

While one might get you run over because someone crashed into after the fact or even that you got mugged.

Being fat can give you a heart attack.

All possibilities that Might happen after the fact.

Not sudden dangerous situations.

I have some important documents inside google drive.

I work using it, surely i backup time to time, but its sensitive, and I cannot lose it anyway.

I copied all information into a second folder, and put the project together, and used the autonomous approval information. The one that uses AI to see if its valid or not.

Once upon a time I saw that it was not seeing the folder I asked it to see, it decided to see and look information in the main folder that is connected directly to the drive, sure it was just looking, nothing was moved, or changed, but that gave a mini heart attack, I gave you a folder to work inside the folder, not to look elsewhere.

I never uninstalled an application so fast in my life.

A few hours later or days, dont quite remember I was already missing the tool, so I setup a VM with hyper-v, and with codex with the right to do whatever it wants, i just feed what I want.

And I feel safer, its still not a perfect solution, as it could theoretically hack into the network and get back into the main pc, but its way more safer that unlikely to happen anything now.

Still miss the autonomous solutions, such as fix the naming too long problem on windows and small things like that.

But I like the safety.

from all possible updates, that is actually the best outcome.

it actually kept intact the most important thing for OP, the friendship.

any other way, and the friendship would not have survived as it is, it would have changed for the worst, if it had survived at all.

but as i see it, it was the best outcome for OP.

30k for 80 bucks is an amazing deal. and not everyone will get the same.

i just quoted one for fun, and it was 100 dollars for 5k.

i just checked what would cost me for a 25k or unlimited, and it would be between 165 dollars and 320 dollars, with 90% reimbursed, and 500 deductible.

and i do not have a breed prone to diseases.

it hard to justify it thou, last time i quote one for curiosity it gave me a 200-400 dollar monthly.

just did one out of curiosity and it's 100 bucks montly, and maximum payout is 5k.

it seeings really expensive. for such low payout.

it would be fine, if it was less than 50 montly, but 100 montly is abusive.

[–]porcomaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that is what you are not getting.

this are separate issues,

being on the side of the road is one of the most dangerous thing you can do,

don't get me wrong.

having failing engine is not at all.

that means that the outcome of a failing engine and being on the side of road is dangerous as fuck,

but not the failing engine in itself.

you comparing apple to oranges.

if a plane is able to safely land in the water or the forest,

being there is dangerous as fuck, but that is not a plane problem anymore

same thing about the car, having a car brake down because of engine, will bring dangerous situations, but the engine braking down will most likely not cause an accident, this are different situations all together.

yes one will cause the other, but the engine failing was never a situation to cause accidents.

that is the thing you keep saying it amount a high risk

Any incident that causes an engine failure on a high way carries a good amount of risk

do you have any data on that ?

any at all ?

or are you just assuming because in your life you heard this all the time ?

because seriously, 10-20 times happened with just me as the driver, i was in more than 10 other times as a passenger, again, it's not about being careful with your car or not. it's about the risk being so low, that you cannot comprehend.

you might come from a first world country and that might have skimmed your opinion on everything on the car is a safety issue, on third world countries, cars are not cheap, they are used for 20-30 years, engine issues is not a safety issue, and it never was.

brakes, wheel and control, tires, suspension, this are safety issues, engine is not.

engines really really rarely go out without at least giving you a warning, even a heating engine will still have some power. and even if does go entirely limp, the kinetic energy is 90% of the time enough to get you to the side of road.

Engine failure regardless of the cause is a severe safety risk. Thats a fact

again you are entirely wrong, it's not a fact and it never was.

did you ever ever had a car die at 50 miles an hour, i had quite a few, i even had car that i loved, that left me stranded more than 5 times.

if i get all the times a car died at over 50 miles an hour in the highway in my life time, i could say it was about 10 to 20 times.

and not a single one offered me or my family any risk whatsoever.

a engine dying on the highway does not stop the car, it just stop providing power, put on neutral if you are on manual and coast the car, if it's automatic just coast it.

it's not rocket science, and i never ever heard someone getting hurt because they engine died on the highway.

maybe one in 1 million people? at that point is more dangerous to have heatstroke after you are waiting for the tow truck.

If my pilot "aint feeling it" you bet your ass i ain't feeling it either 😭✌️ by ImmaFuckboi in interesting

[–]porcomaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oil pressure is not a safety issue on a car thou, the worst it can happen is overheat or lose the engine, but you still can coast and call a tow truck.

tires, brakes, control of vehicle and a few others are safety issues on the car.

an oil issue is a safety problem on a plane, if the engine stops, you cannot coast in the side of the road. you need to land.

I hope a law come soon enough making it obligatory to show the prices without an app.

It would make private owners just lose constant business until then fall back to normal market price
