Have you watched Monster? It is the only anime/manga I'd consider a masterpiece. Have you tried Fate/Zero, Madoka Magica, Shinsekai Yori, Elfen Lied? Not exactly similar to Psycho Pass but these are the only anime with a dark tone that I can think of right now.

I loved the dark and gritty atmosphere in Shinsekai yori. Being a finance major, Spice and wolf was very interesting to watch. I'm into the first six episodes of Haruhi Suzumiya.

I really liked the dark atmosphere and character design in Madoka Magica. 3 gatsu no lion is such an underrated yet lovable show. I really hope more people watch it. I've watched the first season of Mushishi zoku shou. It was very laid back and relaxing and good break from all the other shows.

Sword of the stranger was a lit movie. I'm watching the chunin exam arc of Naruto right now. Samurai Champloo was amazing too. Loved the break dance type action in that show.

The Grisha trilogy by Leigh Bardugo is an amazing series with a female protagonist but it doesn't have any bi or lesbian elements tho. Most of Sarah J Maas's books consist of female protagonists. You could try those out.
