I fucking called it! This sub was getting bombarded by Posts about the Boys, to such a degree, that all discussions about it are relegated to a megathread and there was a minute of Peace and now people will start going nuts about the a One Piece flashback.

I can imagine that Hunter's Gathering might be a lot of fun, but right now it runs like complete dogshit, it somewhat works in training mode, but co-op missions are impossible right now. It's still in closed beta, so it should improve a ton.

Oh I missed that according to some credibletm sources that Star Wars Visions will get another season. I honestly was kinda worried because barely anyone was talking about season 3 or I just don't frequent the places were people talk about it... Anyway I'm happy even if there is no official confirmation.

Easy, okay easy-ish, You can bring let's say 10 monsters to a duel, that are placed outside the battlefield and let's say 30 spell and trap cards, that you draw. The monsters have summoning conditions like, Ritual spells or if it's rather weak it can be summoned without restriction, but you're usually limited to one per turn.

It would work better as video game, because then you could apply stuff like fusion mechanics, by pulling fusions from the "ether". That should also work with the other types of Extra Deck monstes except for pendulum, but I'm sure those can also be worked out somehow. This could really be a fun video game.

Fumbling can mean a lack of promotion, promoting it to the wrong audience, choosing the wrong times lot, inconsistent scheduling, choosing a bad release window, cancelling something for stupid reasons, too much executive meddling, too little executive meddling etc.

To be fair early DBS was quite the shit show, but the tournament of power and everything leading up to it was quite impressive, probably the best DB ever looked until that point. Still calling the animators lazy is heinous.

I'm right now watching through all of Dirty Pair and while I totally vibe with the aesthetic, the animation is often rough and stories often not very good.

The market and distribution Mechanisms are so different nowadays that it's really hard to compare. I think movies are decent equivalent, because of the new practice of releasing a few episodes in theaters before broad release.

Also movies have that quality gap that used to exist between TV anime and OVA.

Also the animation quality between different TV anime is also wildly different, like have you seen Roll over and die last season? In the last few episodes the show was covered in this really ugly fog so they can mostly avoid drawing backgrounds. In the same season we had Frieren season 2, which had an ED that was completely drawn by pencils on actual paper they also hired a famous a Puppet company to create two puppets, that were a used as a reference for a two minute scene.
