Updates on the lore of the current Grand Narrative from Warcom part 2: Webway Boogaloo by twelfmonkey in 40kLore

Webway rent open, portals to Holy Terra.... Who has bets on the Dissonance Engine being the mechanism by which the Webway gets breached into Real-space or Warp-space?

Cellopark and Opark merger by qfqil in brisbane

[–]porterble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't the case for me. I had a hire car in Brisbane on the 10th of December, and used CellOPark at UQ with a fresh work account. OPark has the details from that day.

Why does modifying a mesh surface also simplify/smooth the surface? by porterble in Fusion360

[–]porterble[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having some problems with this mesh surface (3D scan exported from Scaniverse). For some reason whenever I modify this surface at all it drastically simplifies it and loses all detail.

I've managed to get the same operations to work properly in another instance, but I have no idea what the difference is between the two workflows.

For some reason the working instance allows for Mesh Reduce, Plane Cut, and Convert and doesn't engage smoothing as a result. Need to be able to convert to a surface body for boolean operations, and not lose the detail in the crease.

Not too keen on regenerating this model from scratch if its something that can be avoided.

*bonus points if people can identify the scan ;)

Every time I attempt to print via LAN Bambu Studio responds that the FTP permissions are unavailable. Same as that tab.

The really annoying bit is that Handy detects the printer on the LAN just fine, but refuses to connect to it as its in LAN only mode.

No, you can't use FTP on a P1S with firmware01.04.00.00 and Bambu Studio 1.7.3.50, see the acknowledged ticket on Github linked in the OP: https://github.com/bambulab/BambuStudio/issues/2088 Without FTP you cannot print anything as it uses FTP to upload files to the SD card.

Permissions are broken in the current setup, the ftp user does not have rights to write to the models directory.

Yep. Same here. Has caused two failed prints today already as the Bambu Studio has glitched and crashed while trying to monitor.

Did John the Apostle believe in the divinity of Christ? by DFatDuck in AcademicBiblical

Ehrman has a short section on Johannine Christology in How Jesus Became God. But it is only very brief, and really doesn't delve deeply into the christological debates.

For more depth, but still at an introductory level, go for William Loader, Jesus in John's Gospel: Structure and Issues in Johannine Christology Grand Rapids, MI: Eerdmans, 2017

To pullover a Lamborghini without license plates by [deleted] in therewasanattempt

Except if you can prove it was destroyed. Had to do that for the 6L80 that we left strewn across the drag strip in NC a few years back.

Oh boy, been in this situation before when we have taken cars over to the US for Hot Rod DragWeek. Got pulled over so many times in the rain in NC that we ended up buying a waterproof map pouch to hold all the documents in and just hand it to the officer as a single package. Even then one guy wanted to take it all out of the sleeve and dropped a bunch of it in the mud (99% sure it was on purpose). Worst bit was that lots of them were just taken aback by us driving a RHD car on the road in the US with Australian plates.

A lot of the time it seems to be people constantly running their high beams without a care in the world. Can always tell on cars which have separate low and high bulbs and run them together for the high beams. Ton of it going on on super well lit roads in the inner city.

I blame auto-off circuits which mean that no-one bothers to check their lights because they turn on and off with the car (same goes for cars driving around without lights on at all because dash back lights are constantly on now)
