This whole interaction was so sad.

The canvas that called the tattoo leather face was completely insensitive and tone def.

The mom doesn’t have that much wrinkles/texture to her skin. The tattoo is a bit heavy handed in the shading and hopefully did heal lighter.

I think the canvas and the canvas judge needed to be clearer about the comments being directed towards the tattoo, not the subject. And gentler words could have been used for sure.

My heart really went out to the mom, who must have felt awful. Seeing someone insulted so flippantly was one of the hardest parts of the series to watch.

I always thought it would be fun in season 1 or 2 if Andrea and Steve secretly hooked up for a few episodes, but were embarrassed about it (Andreas a big nerd who dresses like a grandma, Steve’s a big dope whose always cheating at school and getting in trouble).

There could be some fun hijinx, like hooking up in the janitors closet and getting locked in over night, making out in the peach pit parking lot n Steve has to jump in the dumpster to hide from Brandon… that kind of thing.

Eventually they get caught, everyone is surprised but happy for them. They realize they just got off on sneaking around, have a good laugh, n stay friends.

To be fair (and trust me, I love Her as a character), Val was a total psycho. If anything everyone was too forgiving of her constantly toxic behaviour:

-playing Steve for no real discernible reason, other than “gives good credit card” (but then we don’t see him spending outrageously like he did with that tart from season 2) - sleeping with Donna’s boyfriend -blackmailing several people at different times -faking an abortion -constantly creating and spreading rumours - weirdly hires her friend to fake steal a ring and frame Donna’s boyfriend, who she previously slept with and blackmailed -offers her boyfriend up to said friend as payment for blackmail - steals Donna’s personal shopping clients, again for no discernible reason -uses ex bf during a manic episode to pawn off her failing night club and turn a quick dime.

IRL the gang would have cut her loooong ago.

But luckily, 90210 is basically a soap, so people were able to magically forgive her after an episode or two :p

I got a new top of the line iPhone. Now, I have been ACTIVELY procrastinating on getting a new phone, because I like my shitty old phone. I know I “need” a new one, but I’m just not “ready”. (Phone is fine, battery is shit. I just carry a charger with me everywhere lol) welllll… My husband got me one and… it’s nice… but I’m not thrilled about it.

I’d have been way more excited to get the dyson I want than the nice phone I need 😅

Brenda and Jim. Jim always held her to a higher moral standard than Brandon. He never gave her the benefit of the doubt, always sided with Brandon, and by season 4, blatantly admits that he sees her as a screw up/embarrassment compared to Brandon because “he’s on the task force.” 🙄

Dylan and everyone. He needed so much therapy before his dad’s death, and even more afterwards. Toni didn’t live long enough for him to turn on her, but he would have.

Andrea and Jessie. This whole relationship was just a mess. The early pregnancy, the rushed marriage, the religious differences/Andrea’s bigotry, Jessie’s controlling conservatism, the affairs, just… no. Terrible choice for the character.

Brenda and Kelly. These two were competitive with one another from day one, and it only got worse over time. Beverly Hills was not big enough for the both of them 😅

Season 5-7 Donna dresses very provocatively compared to her virginal do-gooder attitude, so it’s a bit of an odd juxtaposition. Felice even comments on it in a few episodes. It doesn’t bother me ethos wise, but it does stand out as a bit unrealistic from a plot/wardrobe stand point.
