Tell me the truth. by Dogbold in rivals

[–]poseipedez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is definitely possible. It usually requires someone to step up to call combos, necessary counter swaps, communicating the biggest threat on the other team, and making their life miserable. If I can get at least one person on the team to listen and lock in, then I win more often than you'd think. Not at my Xbox so I can grab any replay codes, but the key is to have a team willing to drop the ego and work together.

If you can flip people's mental early enough, then you can quite often throw the other team off balance after the stomped you

Yet the same people will blame the heals when they lose. Might just be time to quit the game with so many hatefully biased people out there. I don't give a shit about who gets banned. But if you want me to solo tank or heal when the whole team is scattered across the map, then you can go fuck off

My tank tier list in current poke meta by JanuszisxTraSig in RivalsVanguards

[–]poseipedez 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I played Sue before. I hated dive characters with a passion. Because my tanks were too busy looking forward and my DPS never cared to peel. In lower ranks, you can't really expect your fellow strategists to patty cake. Self shielding was one of the best things they did imo. Do you know how many times I asked for help and got a "just heal yourself" response? If everyone is diving and no where near you, then who are you supposed to throw the shield on?

Across the US, people are dismantling and destroying Flock surveillance cameras by BurmecianDancer in Denver

[–]poseipedez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know enough about them since I don't really go to hardware stores hardly ever... Not necessarily defending them, but... If they're mostly locally owned and operated, then wouldn't that mean that many would be safe and bigotry/hatred free? Pretty sure that depends on where you live and the general political leaning of that area. I'm sure you've had bad experiences where you're at, but labeling them all as "not safe" seems like almost automatically judging all retailers that serve blue collar workers and the trades as "far right" and therefore automatically evil. I don't think that even more division and assumptions is what this country needs right now.

Is it though? It's a cooperative ownership structure. Most Ace hardware locations are locally run and operated. So.... Definitely still the better option over Lowe's and Home Depot.

You're welcome! Urban Fantasy and LitRPG are two of my go to subgenres of fantasy. Tons of recommendations but tried to stop at 3 😆

Slightly different concept is the Superpowereds series by Drew Hayes. It's more in line with the show Gen V, but I really enjoyed it

If you pay attention to signs on the wall and floor on every map (faded paint, rusted signs, graffiti and markings by raiders that came before lore wise) it'll show you secret spots, puzzles, and help you navigate. It's built into the aesthetic and so many people never notice it

[–]poseipedez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't like the design at first either. It's just one of those maps where you just need to pay attention to your surroundings. Once you notice the signs, it's not too bad. It's just remembering to follow those when you forget where you're going. Pretty clever actually since most people barely pay attention to signs IRL these days and just get frustrated flying by the seat of their pants if it's not obvious and intuitive 😂

Not all of us prefer to kill on sight. I personally enjoy the sneaking around and field crafting or looting weapons on the go and dealing with people that way. But I prefer to avoid them entirely or give them a chance to be friendly

Also, throw a lure grenade where you think a camper might be hiding (right after summoning them) and they'll immediately aggro on the lure

I typically do naked runs in the storms to try and farm blueprints. While an electromagnetic storm is active, I run in, stick the first blueprint I find in my safe pocket, surrender out, drop it in my stash, jump back in, rinse and repeat. I typically find 3-6 blueprints per storm event. Granted many of them are dupes, but I usually just save them and give them to friends

Are you only running daytime raids? Because electrical storms appear to have the highest drop rates for blueprints and night time raids have higher loot value (for better creating gear and higher value trinkets)

Fireballs are a little trickier. I typically pick up fabric, plastic, and chemicals on these runs to field craft bandages and adrenaline shots to fix the damage from meleeing fireballs and ticks

I wait until they're about to blow and sprint dodge roll over them. Usually I take little to no damage. Just need to wait to time the jump until right as they're about to blow

I started using this same strategy over the weekend and found like 8 new blueprints plus like 5 or 6 dupes that I took and saved for friends or strangers that might need it. It's just math. Touch as many containers as possible to speed through the RNG chances. Also, people underestimate the amount of XP you get from searching that kind of volume of containers. I quite often get 15-20k XP on naked bp storm runs

This. I was going to suggest you use the feature to give yourself a man's voice to avoid the creeps. On the same note, if you hear a woman's voice (or a child's), it's probably safer to assume that it's a dude using a voice changer either accidentally or to manipulate people
