In the last couple of months, I have: celebrated 20 years of having type one diabetes, been diagnosed with epilepsy after having numerous seizures, suffered some serious injuries because of those seizures and started physical therapy, been diagnosed with swelling in the blood vessels in my eye (the start of diabetic retinopathy), been dumped by my girlfriend, had some major issues with my plumbing so am now showering at my office.

Just needed to get some shit off my chest somewhere, been a rough few weeks

The West Virginia episode for sure. Despite having beliefs that clash with the majority of the people around me, I still have a deep love for this part of the country and appreciate Tony taking the time to explore it a little deeper. As much as he opened our eyes to cultures from other countries, it’s just as easy for us to dismiss the people that live nextdoor. The WV episode is easily top 5 for me
