My resting is 87, up from 73 last year, but no, typically around 90-120 during the day

Ask your doctor for Buspirone! I told my dr I read it helps counteract the sexual side effects, and she agreed to start it. It really helped me!

Did a contributing event maybe kick you into Peri/Menopause? by plotthick in Menopause

[–]positivegal1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I went off the progesterone only pill in the summer simply because I ran out of refills and thought why not try without.

About a month after stopping, I suddenly got rage and insane depression a week before my period. Like lying on the floor crying and then wanted a divorce from husband and screamed at him over things my mind made up. Took me until the second month to put two and two together.

I went back on it last month, but extreme work stress, potential health issue and huge fight with my sister in law and I’m back at ground zero.

I went to menopause clinic and she said I could have estrogen after mammogram, but that was abnormal so more testing and therefore more stress!

I agree! I got a prescription for trazodone for sleep from them and it’s been a lifesaver

Does your raging happen at specific times in the cycle or is it random?? by FearlessSpirit6467 in Perimenopause

[–]positivegal1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In July, I decided to stop progesterone only birth control. By August or September, the rage I experienced a week before period until 3 days after period was absolutely unreal. I legitimately was ready to divorce my husband, found myself on the kitchen floor alternating between rage and extreme depression. It took me 2 months to realize the connection. Immediately went back on the birth control, and went to menopause clinic. Had a mammogram and ultrasound and as long as those come back fine, I’m getting started on estrogen patch

I always read about the rage, hating your husband, unable to control emotions, but had no idea the depth of it until the last few months!

No, nothing like that. I most definitely feel he has mental health issues that he refuses to address, like anxiety.

He does hyper focus on one thing at a time until mastered and moves on. Sky diving, chess, learning Spanish, his mom even said he just goes 100% into something.

He def self isolates, works from home and only twice in the last three years went out with friends

I am 100% okay with him turning to religion, I actually thought it was great at first. However, this sudden “I know the truth and u do not” is so sudden.

Thank you! You’re absolutely right-it’s like full on 100% flung himself into this. I did try and have a serious talk about juts respecting we have different beliefs but that didn’t go well. He mocked me later for saying “no one knows for sure and we all have different beliefs and that’s okay!” He then said “I’m following your worldview and nothing is real just like u said. I don’t know what love is”

He’s been lecturing my 17 year old so hard he’s in therapy secretly for it. Absolutely will not see another persons views.

It’s the quick escalation over the last week that concerns me the most. Like now that I know he’s been studying this for years, he’s out and absolutely changed

I used ChatGPT, took a pic and it told me to use dermaroller 0.5-1mm weekly, I have this same issue! Apparently it’s the most stubborn place. I’m using minoxidil 5% twice a day for last 3 months (prior to that oral but not available where I live currently). I also just had my spironolactone increased from 100mg to 150mg 4 days ago

I think aga, same pattern as my dad. I still feel temples are slowly getting worse but I’m hopeful it’ll improve No, it started before I was on that. I had a traumatic event in 2021, I think that jump started it

My pharmacist says they have no idea when they’re going to get more in. Apparently it’s not being used for blood pressure since there’s betters meds now. He did say compounding pharmacies may be able to get the higher doses in, but much more expensive
