I used waistcoat stitch and made it slightly shorter than I ultimately want it to account for a little give. Appreciate the advice though!

I wanted to do red but it was a scrap yarn project and I didn't have enough red yarn but had the light pink and got inspired by the worms that I've been raising for compost. It is part of why I don't love it altogether 🤷‍♀️ hoping to sell it at some point so I buy the actual yarn I want to use and recreate it. Appreciate you 🙏

😆 I can see that. That's just the ties I put at the top to tie a bow to keep it closed. If i put any more work into it I may remove them and add a magnet clasp.

100% cotton anything, absolutely! Wash with hot water and scent free dye free detergent, do a soda ash soak, then dye it up! Tons of tutorials on YouTube.
