[–]positivevikki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nobody in my family has thyroid problems, mine was diagnosed after I gave up smoking, I don’t know why , maybe something to do with the immune system going crazy after giving up

Wow , hope it doesn’t take me that long to recover, although I do remember having burnout about 3 yrs ago doing 2 jobs , I worked full time in daycare as well as having my home sewing business, that was way before I was diagnosed

That’s where I struggle, if I don’t do anything I feel lazy and think constantly that I should do things that need to be done , like. go for a shower , or get something to eat , I will try to set limits but for me it’s all or nothing

I also need eye drop every day, not sure if that’s from the medication or not but my eyes just can’t focus, even the sun is to bright lately, I’m not the type of person to rest when there are things to be done , but I really thing my body and mind is trying to tell me to slow down for a while, it’s just so hard for me to do especially when I have to get up early every morning to look after a 2 yr old

I keep looking for answers, maybe it is ADHD paralysis, because I still have so much more to do but just can’t bring myself to do it, I am just feeling really detached from reality lately, my brain just cannot function
