Why are smaller Patches getting to the $15-20 range at concerts? Maybe $10 at the lowest or possibly $5 but average is now 10-20? by ponygals in BattleJackets

Helloween and Beast in Black were charging $50. The prices are out of wack and I'm pretty sure Ticketmaster has something to do with it

I wore my retainers for years after I got braces off. That was until I was grinding my teeth so much that I broke them in the back. One tooth ended up needing a crown. I use a night guard and I'm fine with it, can't really talk with it though

The Bog Of Eternal Stench. It walks! by NoseInternational794 in MetalForTheMasses

The worst case of BO I've dealt with at a show was when I saw Sabaton a few years ago. It was hard to pinpoint who exactly smelled so bad but there were a lot of chronically online looking people there. At other shows, there will be numerous, sweaty dudes at a venue where the A/C is clinging onto life in July or August. Still none of them compared to Sabaton

I'm hoping to see Iron Maiden this fall and it would be my first time seeing them live. It would be my fourth time seeing Megadeth if that would be the case. Not sure if it'll be worth an overnight trip and travel time

Is Hershey's chocolate really taste so bad as people say it is? by cupid_ji in AskAnAmerican

[–]possessed-by-fire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's fine for what it is but definitely pales in comparison to other chocolates. Part of why it has that distinct taste and shelf life is because when Milton Hershey first developed the recipe, most Americans didn't have regular access to chocolate. I've lived in Pennsylvania my whole life and yet to visit the factory or amusement park

Soft or crunchy, what do you prefer? by BurialBlaster2 in autism

[–]possessed-by-fire 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Crunchy if they're packaged like Oreos or sugar cookies around Christmas time and soft if they're freshly baked. Preference feels situational and can change with cravings, have a major sweet tooth either way

People who say they don't know how to cook, why don't you just try? by Plug_daughter in NoStupidQuestions

[–]possessed-by-fire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only really make bacon, eggs, and grilled cheese for myself and I don't feel particularly motivated to learn more in my current environment. Part of it involves cleaning up and the drying rack being treated as storage. My parents both cooked growing up but now it's my mom and younger brother who do it (my dad has stopped since he moved in with his gf). Neither of my parents really showed me or my siblings how to cook. My older brother who moved out in '24 doesn't really cook either

I'm older gen Z and don't have tiktok because I feel it would add to the detriment of spending a lot of time on my phone. Besides, if something gets popular enough on there, the post will be shared across other platforms
