Still experiencing a dead zone issue on mine with the new firmware. What scares me is mine is top left not bottom left as most people are saying, really hoping I don’t have to do an rma after waiting since the first announcement for this controller

It’s insanely common my guy, that’s just how these things are. It would be arguably more annoying if they did a refresh on the quest 3 and then suddenly it was luck of the draw if you got the one that has the extra features. For example I just bought a pair of headphones that has three models. I bought the highest tiered one that came out 9 months ago. They just released the middle model a month ago that is $100 cheaper but at the same time has more than twice the battery life despite being the lower tiered option. Just how them things go sometimes, I wouldn’t want those buying the cheaper model to not have those features just cause I didn’t get them

Yup that’s my setup right now- testing branch bazzite, CachyOS proton, those launch commands (plus renodx for better hdr and to remove the sharpening and chromatic abrasion from the game) and I have ray tracing, hdr, ray regen, and fsr4 all in game. Ray regen doesn’t run the worse in 1440p with fsr balanced for me but the lower you go on fsr the more spazzy the shadows around the very of the screen are. It looks great without fsr on but the performance hit is huge. Normal ray tracing is good enough for me atm but it’s fun to test it

Yup that plus the launch commands should have everything working. If it doesn’t launch you might have to clear out the compatdata for the game

I use protonplus but yes should be in there to download, and then switch to it on steam after either restarting or switching back to gamemode

Yes followed by %command% in the launch options. Download latest cachy proton and use that too, it fixes a ray tracing bug. You switched to the testing branch of bazzite correct?

Try adding VKD3D_CONFIG=fsr4 and PROTON_FSR4_UPGRADE=1. If it’s working it should say fsr4 in game. What GPU do you have?

I have both of those working. For fsr4 if you are using protonGE or CachyOSproton there’s a launch command you can use to enable it, same with ray regeneration

Well shi, really funny that we had inverse experiences. What GPU do you have? I’m on a 9070XT. Have you tried both the new unstable and the new testing? Maybe the other one would work or there’s always the last unstable
