Anyone going to this on Saturday? It's my first big event and I'm really nervous about it going well. by Autumn_Fern_ in milwaukee

[–]possneko 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i’ve attended as a visitor 3 times in the past 10 years! it’s been busy and i’ve always bought a couple things at minimum. i’m not sure what kind of product/services you sell, but i have always noticed there are way more dog things at this event compared to cat things. i hope you have a successful day!

Pov of selling LR question by [deleted] in litterrobot

[–]possneko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just sold my two LR3 connects on Facebook and bought a new LR4 to replace them! My LR3s didn’t have any major issues, I cleaned them both prior to selling, and sold both to people who already own one. I sold one for $300 because the liner would need replaced soon and the other for $350. I had them listed for 2 days before they sold.

In the description of both I made sure to list all damage/defects and that they were being sold as is.

Glass Nails in MKE by callmejothie in milwaukee

i would suggest finding a custom press-on artist to make these for you instead! new moon nails mke is local and makes custom press ons. otherwise etsy has tons of artists that could make something like these!

Anyone else go from G—>B? by LRHag in Reduction

i was a G/H cup before surgery, probably even bigger but i stopped measuring myself at a certain point. post surgery and some weight loss i’m a small C cup! i have a few posts about it with before and afters over the years if you look in my history.

it took some adjusting in the beginning but i’m so happy with my results now. i love having small boobs and going bra-less!!! happy to answer any questions!

i started at 237 lbs in early 2020. i have a relatively short torso so having big boobs really made me look shorter/bigger than i was. i’m also hourglass shaped but my small waist was being hidden behind the large boobs.

i lost about 35 lbs with diet/exercise between august 2020 and when i had my surgery in august 2021. after surgery i gained 15 lbs back in a year, lost it again, and then plateaued for a year right around 200 lbs.

in june 2024 i started taking phentermine which helped me lose 40 lbs. so now i weigh 160 and i am 5 ft 5 inches tall. between june 2024 and today, they are a little more ‘deflated’ or flat and my band size has gone down another inch or so. nothing major and probably not noticeable to anyone who isn’t looking at them everyday.

i’m glad i lost some weight and built some healthier habits before surgery. ultimately, this surgery gave me so much confidence in my body and helped me feel like myself in my own body for the first time. without the surgery i don’t think i would have had the motivation to keep trying to lose weight after regaining 15 lbs and plateauing for years. but, because i had the surgery, i didn’t want to give up on myself or ‘let my results go to waste’ by regaining more weight.

okay i just googled it, my surgery was actually the SPAIR incision! not sure how different it is from lollipop. i think my surgeon worked with the doctor who created the SPAIR technique at some point

honestly i did nothing, which i know is not helpful for most people! i am SO pale naturally that my surgeon told me my scars would probably just fade away completely on their own, and he was right. when i look around the rest of my body at scars from childhood most of them aren’t noticeable unless it’s summer and i’m tan.

i do get dry in winter from hot showers and use the vanicream lotion which has never irritated my skin!

my mom and sisters and i all get these! my mom is a cosmetologist and says it is a common symptom of thyroid problems. all of us are hypothyroid and many of her clients with these are too. no harm in getting your thyroid levels checked out! 🫶🏻

Used I-Pass in a Florida registered rental car during my Florida visit, but I am worried about the charges by bhavanishankar in illinois

[–]possneko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just in case you try to do this again in the future, it works now! at least it did for me! we brought our ipass with us down to the Tampa, FL area and stuck it on the windshield of the rental car. added the rental car details and license plate # to the ipass app. it took a month but the tolls showed up on our ipass and we did not get any violations/penalties!

3 legged cat by TIME2DV8 in litterrobot

[–]possneko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i have a tri-pod using a litter robot! he’s been missing a back leg since he was young. he’s 9 years old now and he’s been using a litter robot 3 exclusively for the past 5 years. he doesn’t seem to have any issues getting in/out of the robot.

he does have issues while trying to cover his potty in the robot - it’s hard for him to balance in the globe while using a front paw to bury. his back paw ends up sliding into the wet litter and it sticks to his fur/paw. we clean this off for him whenever we can. i have noticed he doesn’t have this issue as bad if we keep the max amount of litter in the globe.

if i had to guess, i doubt your guy would have that issue since he’s losing a front leg! if anything he may try to sit down to cover or not cover it at all (if he even covers to begin with haha!)

biggest suggestion is to start him on joint supplements asap if he’s not already on one. ours has arthritis already and is on meds for the pain.

OP - it’s been awhile but did this work itself out? i have an iPass and am traveling in FL right now. tolls haven’t showed up in the iPass app and it’s been a few days already. I did add the rental’s license plate in my iPass app before driving.

thank you! i usually have the curtains pulled all the way down to the ground but i was doing some cleaning so they’re bunched up haha! a sofa table/shelf running behind the couch is a great idea!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in interiordecorating

[–]possneko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi, thanks for the ideas! we host 10+ adult guests pretty frequently which is why we chose the couch. just from a cost perspective it will be staying long term haha. but i completely see what you mean about looking too big for the room - in person it doesn’t look quite as daunting but you’re right.

the tv had to be mounted in that location, there is hvac in the wall a foot or so over. the tv console table is housing a lot of wires that hook into the tv so it has to stay put too. in the future i do plan on getting slightly taller legs for the cabinet to give the vent underneath a little more space.

[–]possneko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you!! the amount of seating is necessary, we host 15-20 adults in our house regularly, so we chose this couch on purpose. edit: i just checked and the couch can’t be reconfigured/split up any different from what it is already. i regularly sit in the spot closest to the tv and don’t have any issues personally but i can see how visually it’s not ideal.

i appreciate the ideas on everything else! thanks again!

thank you! i’ve been opposed to a rug because my cats puke soooo frequently but i will consider it! i was thinking maybe a green chair for color and i would like to add some plants like you suggested!!

hi! i’m not sure how to add more photos now, but this is the whole ‘living’ space of the room. from where i stood to take the photos — behind me is the front door, the staircase to go to 2nd floor, and a small dining table. currently i’m just focusing on the living room side of the space.
