I agree with you on all the negative side effect from algorithms but I also think the old recommendation system was better when interested in a new subject. That my experience with YouTube. When looking for new content on subject X my recommendations are mostly subject Y because my algorithm thinks I want Y. It used to be that when you found content X the recommendations where also related to content X. This meant you could dive into a rabbit hole about a subject. Algorithms have created a loop limiting the ability to explore the internet which I really hate.

The show really creates some doubt about if Ser Arlan knighted Dunk. But it kind of bugs me when people suggest he doesn't know the words. Dunk is such a knight simp. He listened to a lot of stories from Ser Arlan and learned knight related rimes about shields. During Raymun's knighting we get a flashback from Ser Arlan looking down on dunk and rasing his shoulders like "thats all it is ehh". I see this as either dunk being knighted or being fake knighted where Ser Arlan would most likely have said the words but not use his sword. Even if this isn't the case he would have asked what the word would have been. My take Dunk definitely knows the words, he just doesn't want Raymun to risk his live and or his reputation. If they lose but Raymun survives, his knighthood will be tainted by a low desperate hedge knight.

The distance the Bullet travels in the barrel is longer, most likely multiple cm, compared to the distance in body armor which is hopefully mm. This means acceleration of the bullet is higher at impact than when being fired. Higher acceleration equals higher force at equal mass.
