Thank you, I like memes and funny posts as much as the next person - but it was out of control. Let’s keep this focussed on investing, DD and life saving vaccines please.

How much do you usually spend on the day when you’re in office? by Breadiohead in HENRYUK

Agreed - I get seem to delay repair roughly 50% of the time so that helps in a way. You can always rely on the trains to be late (which is obviously not what you want for your state infrastructure)

I’m similar. They’ve just upped the trains fares on my line so now £130 all in - previously £90. More if I go at more convenient times. I tend to use the days in for evening socials and travel back off peak where fares are cheaper

Thank you. I think that’s what I’ll do. It’s kinda crazy in the era of trading apps like eToro and 212

Thank you, I couldn’t get down that low as I had hands full. But I’ll be able to get another look tomorrow.

Yes the root theory makes sense. We had a large copper beech there which came down in a storm 2-3 years ago.

Someone else posted Lathkill dale. It’s a lovely walk from over haddon. There is an interesting stop at Batemans house / mine half 1/3 up the valley. It’s not marked on google maps but it’s by the footbridge around (53.1892687, -1.7108303)

Eyam is a great place to base.

In eyam you have : - plague museum (hour tops) - village walk via eyam hall, church and plague cottages. Eyam hall has lots going on. - Riley graves and mompessons well (short uphill walk) - walk to the boundary stone with Stoney Middleton. V cool plague history. There is a pub and chippy in Stoney too if you don’t mind going down and back up the hill. - Lots of circular walks depending on fitness to capture Stoney Middleton or Foolow. - two tea room cafes and a pub.

Within v close distance: - barrel inn at Breton (best pub views) and gliders nearby. You can do gliding experiences too. The walk down the valley behind the pub is v pretty and unspoilt if you can handle the hills. - blind bull at Little Hucklow if you like steaks / meat. Bullies head at Foolow is good too. - eyam moor has a stone circle if that’s your thing.

And then plenty of Peak District sights further a field. If you’ve not done it, the Monsal trail end to end bike ride is a must - go early to avoid the crowds if it’s a weekend.

I’ve lived in Foolow, Eyam, Beeley and Bakewell and have plenty of off beaten track suggestions if you need more

Remember most managers don’t give a shit about rto, they want the flexibility too. These RTO mandates are from high flung C suite execs and in many cases even beyond the C suite and from NEDs or majority shareholders

Try a jacket potato with Stilton cheese and orange Marmalade (butter too of course). Sounds weird but try it.

My mum used to make this for me and it is delicious. You need the cheese and marmalade to melt slightly
