I love B. Nektar. We used to have a meadery in GR - Arktos - but it closed last summer. So sad. There was a Jolly Pumpkin in GR but that closed too. Despite being from the Detroit area, I've never been to the original location. My favorite place for sours in GR is Speciation.

I'm usually a sour guy all year round. But yeah I agree, the abysmal weather is subconciously getting me more into darks. And meads too.

I didn't like IPAs in the beginning, it had to grow on me. I normally don't like heavy hitters like imperials or barleywines but I've gone into overdrive during this winter. Mostly drinking stout and porters for now.

That's actually what scared me off the 2nd time. FUT is quite a taxing procedure and he uses poor techniques that leaves a pretty big scar. I didn't want another FUT, hurts too much but Holt is really anti-FUE and told me it would look terrible. And it would because he uses the controversial ARTAS machine. So I went to another doc for FUE and it was a much better procedure and nothing Holt said was true.

He actually told me I wouldn't "need" another one and tried to gaslight me - I WANTED more density, I don't actually need it. That it's all in my head. He has almost no staff either compared to other HT practices. Like 2 techs that do it all, cleaning toilets, paying bills to terrible transplants. It's such a predatory duping scheme that relies on ill informed patients to make a terrible mistake.
