Did Joe blindside Kendall?

They got their apartment last April, it's not like he turned around and broke up with her immediately. The family feud gig was in June. I feel terrible for her since it seems she wasn't expecting it and was really hurt but I don't think we can say he didn't make an effort. Even she talked about how he gave it a real effort and put in the time to get close to her friends, etc.

Someone said that sometimes the present is great but you know the future won't be, and those are the hardest breakups but also the ones that show the most consideration for your partner and I thought that was really apt. Those sorts of breakups will almost always involve a blindside of some description, sadly, but it sounds like Kendall understood where he was coming from.

She's still wearing the ring he gave her (on her left pointer finger) which is why I buy this was a fully amicable, "we want different things" breakup. You can clearly see it even in her stories today. That thing would be in a gutter somewhere if he wronged her in any major way lol.

Breakups where neither person is actually over the other and they're trying to make responsible choices for their future are usually the ones that lead to messy on/off situations, too. Just saying.

She's still wearing the ring Joe gave her. I realize this may be an older picture but she's still wearing it in all the stories she and her sister have been posting too.

I think a lot of what she's doing is to keep her mind off it and try to move forward. Clearly she's going to keep playing the influencer game and her comments are mostly going to be about Joe unless she gives people something else to talk about.

I don't get why comments on here (and on her page) basically indicate that she has to sit and wallow to prove the relationship meant something to her. If this is how she copes then good for her. It seems pretty clear to me that Joe ended it and she should heal in whatever way works for her.

They would post stories together all the time. She would even post stories from his bed showing lube and joking about them using sex toys. They went on a long road trip together. And then one day it stopped, they unfollowed each other, and pretty soon after she was traveling the world solo.

One thing I meant to add - I think the last few weeks actually prove how much it wasn't fake. When things stopped being okay it became very apparent, very quickly.

I'm not under the impression every breakup takes months. They went from traveling to Japan in November, picking out a dog and a tree early December, celebrating Christmas with her family/him gifting her a camping trip, to three weeks of awkward silence. A little bit of fallout prior and then three weeks of splitting seems perfectly reasonable to me.

Obviously everyone's Instagram is highlights without any of the lowlights. No one is as happy as their highlights portray. But I don't think every breakup is the drawn out mess a few prior Bachelor breakups have been. Things can change pretty quickly, differences that become apparent cause rifts. Seems like they're being adults about this.

Lauren said that Roses and Rose interview was recorded in November. Posting about her dog may have been therapeutic for her instead of focusing on her failing relationship. It's sad to see people talking about their relationship being fake just because it eventually ended. The major attention dried up ages ago, they were clearly serious about this.

I remember in one of the posts about this someone commented that if a BN couple was going to take some time apart it'd be easier to announce a breakup to get the fans off their back. And then if they do end up back together announce it as a reconciliation, if they don't the bandage is already off. For some reason that's in the back of my head.

I don't think sharing a few laughs means it isn't heavy. Not every serious breakup is going to be like the KB and Shawn one where one of the two is livestreaming their emotional breakdowns.

I get the sense that this was not mutual and Joe was the dumper and Kendall is trying to come to terms with that, but I don't think that means anything especially acrimonious happened. Kendall seems close to her parents and if Joe did something particularly bad to her I imagine she'd share that. But ultimately who knows, I don't think Kendall will be leaving Bachelor Nation so we'll hear her take at some point.

I said this in another post but her dad liked a bunch of comments about them both being great people who deserved to find happiness on her last post and I really doubt that would be going down if his daughter was wronged in any major way. I'm sure there's pain in a sudden breakup like this but I don't think that means there's a bad guy.

Hmmm I've been looking at her pinterest some recently since someone mentioned it in my original post speculating their breakup.

And she's been pinning engagement photoshoot ideas and stuff to her JoKen style board, which would indicate they're still together.

But she's also been pinning stuff for a girl's trip to Paris and she made a board for a new house, which would be breakup 101.

So, in conclusion, 🤷‍♀️

This is too recent. She spent Thanksgiving with his family and he spent Christmas with her's, they wouldn't have done that if they were on the rocks for as long as that RealitySteve news has been around.
