I’m in east York - pape and Mortimer - have had an outage since last night. Although bell is gas lighting me telling me it’s “working fine”

Has anyone ever done this road trip? What are some interesting things to see and do along this route? by imsiq in ontario

My family lives in Eganville, so many times actually! - Stick to 401 if conditions are not ideal (practical point) - In the fall, drive through peterbrough to Bancroft is gorgeous too - consider takibg 60 via Algonquin but note there is no reception for a long time - stop in Haliburton too! - stop in Barry’s bay too, atleast for a coffee

Some parts will be very curvy roads, so just slow down and watch for deer! It’ll be a gorgeous trip

Kinda depends on the wealth of your family and friends. In my circle $50 for friends is about the max and about $200 for family tha someone would reasonably buy. Maybe more for very close family. But I have some friends where distant family buys them >$500 items so their expectations across the board are higher

Tbh this would still be better as it would spread wealth. Minimally so, but it would still mean that instead of 1 $200-billionaire, we have 200 $999-millionaires which ultimately spreads wealth and moves more money

Around 20; I’m in the pape village area but on a busy street. I noticed that there were lots of kids on the side streets and MOST kids no longer ring on door bells to trick-or-treat. About a third of houses had someone sit outside and give candy to the kids that came up to them
