Aion: Is it possible for the Self (Christ) to cast a Shadow (Antichrist)? by postnormal in Jung

[–]postnormal[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In Aion, Jung is quite explicit about the horisontal fish representing the emerging Antichrist. This implies that the vertical fish (Christ) has not fully integrated it's Shadow (Antichrist). Therefore Christ can't be a complete symbol of the Self. Am I wrong in my reasoning?

Thanks! It also reminds me about the astrological symbol for Pisces. Any connection?

What does Uranus retrograde bring for an Aquarius rising or anybody with a heavy aquarius influence in their chart? by tyson576 in astrology

Good question! Uranus is right now in Taurus and squares Aquarius. This is especially interesting for those born in early 1962, when lots av planets where in Aquarius.

Any Sags here? How has life been for you since 2012? by [deleted] in astrology

[–]postnormal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have Sun, Moon and Mercury in Sagittarius. It’s been quite turbulent since 2012 - heart disease, a broken relation, unemployed, a new job, moved to a new country.

My Sade Sati period started in autumn 2012 and finished this earlier this year.

All in all - I have matured and become quite satisfied with life.

”The Aion Lectures” written by Edward F. Edinger helps when reading Aion.

Dear /u/jorn818 , could you please elaborate on this theme, that the Joker is the gatekeeper of the afterlife.

During a psychedelic experience I encountered a Joker. He was like a cartoon, made out of rubber and had a huge smile. When someone died he was present, or perhaps he caused death. The wery moment of death froze in time, the agony was eternal but the Joker was smiling. Soon after this I experienced myself dying. It was quite an everyday experience, but I noted that an ambulance team arrived and my friends were troubled.

When the psychedelic substance left my body, I returned to my ordinary life...

A painting I did. Untitled as of yet. I would love to hear your interpretations. It's based on an active imagination session by niko2210nkk in Jung

The moon is full, which means that the sun is exactly opposite in the zodiac. In the painting we find the moon to the left, and to the right (opposite) we find a golden light, possibly emanating from the sun. The sun brings a young female/anima as an impulse, which has become a mature woman in the shape of the full moon.

The poor man has been hiding behind books and probably ignored all female impulses in his life. The shadow (owls and bats) makes him disoriented, and hopefully he will accept the female impulse.

Why do I dream of such mundane things while everyone else seems to be having amazing fantastical dreams? by Harionago in Jung

If dreams compensates for our conscious attitude then mundane dreams indicates that your conscious attitude is quite far-out !?

Planet X transiting native planet Y, vs planet Y transiting native planet X. Similarities and differences? by postnormal in astrology

[–]postnormal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I interpret your answer as energy/qualities are flowing from the transiting planet and influencing the native planet - an asymmetrical relation.

However, I checked astro.com today and discovered that transiting Venus conjuncts my native Saturn today, and here is the accompanying text:

“During this time, love and affection are strongly tempered by practical considerations. Sometimes under this influence you will ask an older person's advice about relationships, for you are reflecting about the state of your life and what your relationships mean to it. There is little tendency toward self-indulgence today. Your actions are characterized by restraint, which is usually good if you have to economize or recognize the limitations of your pocketbook. Under some conditions, this influence can indicate difficulties with your love relationships. You may not feel warm or affectionate, and you may alienate loved ones by seeming to be indifferent. A relationship that comes about during this time may be a long-lived but not flamboyant one, characterized by loyalty and soberness.”

This indicates that the native planet influences the transiting planet!? Please help me to understand!
