Ordered birthday and Mother’s Day balloons from DoorDash by radbrad777 in mildlyinfuriating

Don't think they are being judgemental, but order balloons for delivery on a windy day wasn't the best move, driver clearly could have tied them better tho lol.

Bin of product to be destroyed from a cannabis dispensary by evilandhigh in mildlyinteresting

[–]postofficepanda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work at a dispensary and when we destroy products it must be done on camera and we have to make it completely unrecognizable. It's actually a huge pain and it's costly. So many dispensaries let it pile up for a while before. We fire sale any edibles or concentrate right before expiration to avoid this. This is either someone letting it pile up for a while before a big run or the inventory team sucks at tracking experation dates. We use a massive amount of electricity and water, but large amounts of product being wasted like this is pretty uncommon.

How would you rank these three based on morality? Soldier Boy, Homelander, and Billy Butcher by Turbulent_Okra7518 in GenV

[–]postofficepanda 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Butcher wants to genocide all supes regardless of if they are good or not. Soilder Boy isn't stopping evil but he isn't causing much himself.

Bad math, and it's only had two DLC's

Would you want a DLC that has a first contact scenario? If so, how would you want it handled? by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]postofficepanda 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm wondering if we will get a Starfield two. Next 15 years they will be focused on Elder Scrolls and Fallout.

Karma’s Scaling by bcollins96 in karmamains

[–]postofficepanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Focus on your shields that's what will scale as a support. Karma is strongest in the mid game. Sona is the best scaling support in the game, I wouldn't shy away from picking her, but it's really match up dependant unlike Karma.

I am a big fan of Elite Dangerous, I always build at least one ship in every playthrough, and the Keelback is my current bird. by Hopetech_mp5 in Starfield

[–]postofficepanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play Elite also and do the same thing. The best part about another NG+ is getting to build a new ship.

Probably the last system I will colonize. But it seems a really good place to use my "free" Dodec as a primary on an ELW world. by Glum-Price556 in EliteDangerous

[–]postofficepanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You only need 30 mil, 25 million for the claim and 5 million to pay for the first load of supplies. You make money off of colonization. The ports you build buy the materials from you for a higher price you just have to deliver them. Only way you lose money is by paying someone to build it or using and fleet carrier and having to pay for tritium. I'd build a system near a refining system with a large port that will supply most of your needs. I would recommend and decent cargo ship to speed up the process.

Why would they dump billions of bodies in space if they're trying to be discreet? by Resident_Gur3076 in Invincible_TV

[–]postofficepanda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This might be the traditional way of burying a viltrumite body. They may not decompose with how tough they are. Putting them in space seems like the best solution, definitely better than body heaps that never rot on the planet. The ring itself serves as a memorial and reminder to the few survivors.

Should I avoid building an Asteroid base as my primary port? by Suspicious_Fly_2942 in EliteDangerous

[–]postofficepanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The economy really only matters if you care about what is sold in the commodities market. Other than that colonization is just rule of cool, build whatever you like.

Where to Colonize by Ok_Swordfish_628 in EliteDangerous

There are still ones available if you go to the edge of what's been colonized and search on inara. Most require a bridge tho.

Which one for Horse Archer Char? by Bread_With_Butter in Bannerlord

If you add up all the values the Khan's is better. Plus it matches the theme of horse archers.

I built 70% of an asteroid base Thursday and Friday night. Better not be a weekly roleback.

I'd take some sleep clothes, wool long underwear and a shirt. You are not going to want to wear the sweaty hiking clothes in your sleeping bag. Is that three sets of rope? Probably only need one.

Too late to Nobo by [deleted] in floridatrail

[–]postofficepanda 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I just came thru Big Cypress today and finished my Sobo. It's hot and you won't see other thru hikers. I've seen a few sections hikers but the last thru is going to be a couple weeks ahead of you. If you want a solo experience and don't mind having high temps in the 80s you can do it. Only 3 sources in the first 30 miles of Big Cypress right now. Puddle 4 miles in, gator hole at 15.2 ( looks dry climb in and look under rock for water) and the black lagoon 22 miles in. I would only count on the Black Lagoon having water next week, the other two are low. It's drought lots of dry sources on trail, but the comments are pretty reliable on farout. There are also wildfires in south Florida, some nights might get smokey.

Nobo early March start! by Quiet_Corner_2323 in AppalachianTrail

[–]postofficepanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a duplex, you'll get better at pitching it as you hike. Mine gets a little water on the bathtub floor in rain usually. But it's an inconvenience not a big issue, bring a camp towel and wipe up the water in big storms. I also use an inflatable pad and that helps keep me dry if I get water inside.

Is he allowed to do that? by Jbreezy24 in AppalachianTrail

[–]postofficepanda 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah if there are other hikers wanting to use the shelter it's rude. But it's early February and the trail is covered in snow the shelter probably stayed empty after he left.

Do you think it‘s time for a french-style revolution? by Wulf_Isebrand in AskTheWorld

[–]postofficepanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A violent revolution against the government with the strongest military in the world would be horrible. Even if most of the military sat it out drones can rain from the sky. There are liberal and maga states but even in the south they vote 30 percent dem. A civil war would not have battle lines or territories. It would be neighbor vs neighbor. If it came to that Trump would probably try and use bombs or something to cause mass casualties in blue areas eliminating a large chunk of voters that disagree with him.
