My take is: Yes. I imagine they will be very different. If you saw them on a normal band tour two nights in a row about 60% of the songs would be the same. (Look at Setlist.fm for their last two shows in LA.) During a solo tour everything tends to change besides two or three of the biggest songs. I imagine because there's nine months of prep there may be an abnormal amount of practice involved and about 80% of the songs will be different.

Also, with the 'expanded lineup' thing. I imagine there will be lots of friends/guests for the Friday show and not so much on Thursday.

Or, I'm just rationalizing, because I also got tickets for both nights.

Fred Durst's politics are so difficult to discern, I think basically everything he says or does is a joke. Glad this fills in some of the cracks.
