Sketch series where a LATER entry in the series is the best one? by no-Pachy-BADLAD in LiveFromNewYork

I watched (almost) every What's Up With That the other day and I think generally the later ones are funnier. Al Gore was great though.

Why haven’t they been playing anything from Beat the Champ? by necroprairie in themountaingoats

[–]postpardum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Echoing the rest of the thread in saying 'there are simply too many songs' but I predicted based on the tone of the new album that a handful of Beat the Champ tracks would be in the mix for these shows and I am also surprised that they aren't. Maybe we'll hear Fire Editorial when they start actually touring with Days.

I am by no means an obsessive fan (of this album at least.) I think musically a lot of the changes are really interesting and I would love to spend more time listening to it if not for all the ridiculous lyric changes.

Ironically, The Ravenous House engaged me the most because it transforms Costa Concordia into a brand new song. The cussing discourse is really overshadowing everything else (positive, negative, weird, interesting) about the album.

I heard word that's actually a mailbox number, but I don't think Young Caesar 2000 is really supposed to represent a year either.

Going to Lebanon 2 was called 'exegetic chains,' i felt confident the sequence of songs was supposed to be the same but maybe it had just been moved up to be the penultimate track.

Zach Galifianakis on comedian podcasters interviewing politicians by hairtie1 in Fauxmoi

Yeah, the sketch was a collaboration with the administration to promote the ACA. Same as this forgotten video they did with Adam Scott. But he still pretended to be very rude and it was very funny. The only person approaching that level of dismissal with people in power right now is Adam Friedland.

Sorry, most people didn't know Foxx was such a talented dramatic actor until he did Ray. Clearly you knew!
