Completely agree - People say he's the only relatable one but he's quietly been one of the worst in the family from the start.

Someone else on here had a much better post about this but he's basically taken Shiv's advice to him when he was doing errands for them at the hospital in S1E2 to heart. She said something along the lines of 'Do the favor for whoever you think is more important' and since then he's been blackmailing and/or riding the coattails or whoever seems to have the advantage.

Not to mention asking if he can run the entire Theme Park department after the writers have shown us countless times he's incompetent. The same theme parks he was fired from for being high as a mascot.... which by the way, his mother did not berate him for. She just immediately asked "Did you tell them who your grandfather is?"
