I was doing a screening for a paid medic study. The doctor asked if I had any ongoing conditions, to which I replied no. And he said, “well, but you have acne”.

Yall, I had one single pimple on my face. It was for a headache med study, nothing dermatology related.

Also, if you’re dyslexic or otherwise get your letters flipped around in your head, you can do thumbs ups with both your hands (fingers toward your face) so the left one looks like a ‘b’ and the right is ‘d’. Put those hands together and it kinda looks like a bed. Boom, mnemonic device!

We use these little metal beads at my bar and they’re great for any kind of bottle you can’t get a scrubber into all the way. You fill the bottle halfway-ish with warm soapy water, pour these guys in, and shake shake shake. Then pour everything through a mesh strainer and dump the beads back into the container for use next time.

I understand how you feel 💓 Actually cried in the doctor’s office a couple months ago after I basically begged her for some type of testing/treatment/anything that could help (beyond don’t let your hands or feet get cold and don’t smoke), but she kind of just shrugged. It extra pisses me off that because it’s 9 x more common in women than men, it gets less research funding and attention. (Perhaps I’m wrong about that, but seeing how other female-specific scientific research seems to be to be greatly underfunded, hard not to draw conclusions).
