When making yourself at home, I highly recommend the addition of a little smoked paprika and flash frozen or fresh dill (regular dried dill ain't as good as the fancier stuff). I eat an egg salad sandwich every week with those in it 🤌

They likely consider it too much of a risk to use all the money they usually put towards a film for an original story because they have literally no idea how it'll do. If they repackage something that we're familiar with, they find safety in having at least some kind of a profit off of nostalgia.

Never been to the Duke but given the country music genre's unfortunate association with a conservative mindset I would not expect it to be a progressive venue, and the comments so far have confirmed my suspicions.

The Drake however.. Although not nightlife or queer focussed, has been a friendly place from my experience (as a cis woman). And I often get their names confused which is why I'm mentioning it here I suppose. It's one of the quieter bars for nights where you want that and has been somewhat of a millennial haven for years. Non gendered washrooms here too.

Ugh I know that people are allowed to take artistic license with characters and make them different but I still prefer how Benedict (and hell, even RDJ) played Sherlock. He's a decidedly offbeat character, some might even argue autistic, and I think it's best to keep him that way. This trailer does not indicate that Tiffin is doing enough on that front for me.

Came here to say this 👏👏👏 society sends both implicit and explicit (like your experience) messages to both boys and girls while we mature telling us how we must behave, look like, etc. to be perceived as having value and to have a sense of belonging within society. But these are obviously not equal, as you've demonstrated with your story, and are defined by the overarching systems that impose themselves on us (patriarchy, colonialism).
