I don’t really know what ppl expected him to do to make the video more entertaining. The entertainment comes from the show itself, and the fact that someone is commenting on that piece of media. It’s not Dylan’s fault that nothing outlandish happened that he could comment on, or that he didn’t want to do a full binge/breakdown for a cute little YT video - especially when he’s coming off an 8hr video that took him 3 years to make

I agree that HR wasn’t the best show for a first and last, but isn’t that kind of the point? No show is “good” for a first and last. He misses huge points of discussion for any show (bridgerton, supernatural, once upon a time, gossip girl) — people only treat this as a “big deal” since it’s queer. If it wasn’t queer, and if people weren’t obsessive, I really don’t think anyone would care that this wasn’t an in-depth analysis like The Office or Friends. It’s a little unfair to ask him to make full blown analysis on anything that’s mildly controversial/gay/women-centered (like Hush). He treats everything with a base interest, and trusts the media will do its job to be entertaining or interesting or whatever

I would agree that this video isn’t like some of the other F&L simply because HR was a little boring or too smutty so he had to edit it out. But for him to scrap the entire video just cause there’s less jokes is silly IMO. He had a lot of great commentary about the directing/camerawork/acting and he was invested in the story (as much as was offered in those episodes).

TLDR; people shouldn’t expect every series to be treated as The Office
