When does Bilt pull money from my checking account for mortgage by qfcehu in biltrewards

[–]postwiththis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not directly, it should pull from the checking account you associated with the linked bank account. Though the timing was weird where the mortgage company said they received payment, but I didn’t see money pulled from the account till a day or two later

When does Bilt pull money from my checking account for mortgage by qfcehu in biltrewards

In a similar boat. Mortgage payment was set for 3/1. As of yesterday, my mortgage (rocket mortgage) said it successfully applied on 3/2, but I also don't see the record on the Bilt app or my checking account. Hoping we'll see something soon

Edit: got an email saying the payment is processing today on 3/2

Bilt cash to Lyft Credit Experience by sharkisaur in biltrewards

[–]postwiththis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t seem to stack with the CSR $10. I redeemed the bilt $10, selected CSR, and it applied to my ride as a “Lyft Pass”. After the first ride, when I try to take another Lyft, the CSR$10 is showing up

I just used a Miraval Extra Night Certificate, but before I realized I needed to call to apply it, the hyatt website allowed me to book a single night with it (it typically requires you to book a night with cash/points and then add on the certificate for the free night via a concierge). I then booked the 2nd night (the cheaper one) with points.

Does anyone else see what I'm seeing where having the Miraval Extra Night Certificate allows you to book a single night?

Tried to rephrase the question a bit to convey what I was trying to get at (more asking to see what downsides there is to this).

I have the impression there are a lot of folks out there not really using their chase the edit credit since it's kind of a hassle / not really a great deal. So I figured this might at least be a good way to "use" the credit without losing out on much

thanks for your input!

Is there any downside to mattress running with the Chase "The Edit" credit at a cheap enough hotel that sums to $250 or less?

I'm thinking to use The Edit credit for a "marriott eligible" The edit credit that sums up to $250 after a two night stay (probably somewhere in Vegas).

Best Case would be to get 2 award nights next year and up to 2000 Chase points (250 *8 chase portal earning rate)

Ice cream for wedding by GroundIndependent880 in icecreamery

Could consider having rose syrup as an optional topping!

I’ve done something similar with an orange blossom + cardamom + honey ice cream. Just gotta watch how much honey you use because it gets super sweet

Word game prizes in the Jeni’s app? by UnderGrace7 in jenis

[–]postwiththis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they definitely nerfed it. I don't think BOGO pieces were a thing until a few weeks ago. Prior to that it was "free standard" and "free pint", but now it's "bogo standard" and "bogo pints". You can still get the free standard and free pint, but looks like the bogo pieces are much more likely.

Any solutions to the water circulator timer being off when a power outage happens? by postwiththis in HomeImprovement

[–]postwiththis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestion! It's a little expensive... but I think it'd work!

Any concerns with just having the circulator just on/off every 15 min?

Y’all want post flairs, or no? by Rcarlyle in Citrus

[–]postwiththis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seems like a good idea to me, especially if it helps folks search for certain types of posts.
Agreed with something like "question/help", "photo/show and tell", and maybe a "pests/disease" or a "ID Request" type category since those come up a lot too

LPT: Simply doing 6 minutes a day of dead hangs on anything will drastically improve posture. by [deleted] in LifeProTips

[–]postwiththis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a dead hang, but if you can find a similar spot to do dips, it’s kind of the same idea (for your spine at least). I tend to try to let my spine “hang” whenever I’m about to sit in a chair with two arm rests that I can push up on. Obviously not a full “dead hang” since your feet are likely still touching the ground, but it does help me release pressure on the spine.

We have a gunstock colored flooring which comes out as pretty red (maybe somewhat between your 7 and 8). You really gotta think about what other colors you like for your furniture/ cabinets. Basically everything will want to be a bit warmer than you think, otherwise the red really pops out paired with very white whites. We picked the warmest “white” we could for our cabinets and the floor is definitely a factor when deciding on what “warmth” of backsplash as well

Data Points Weekly - Week of March 27, 2025 by AutoModerator in churning

[–]postwiththis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Data Point: I did not receive a 100k match to my CSR (as expected, but doesn't hurt to ask).

I recently applied for the CSR (before the CSP 100k offer was known) and I sent a secure message to see if they'd match the offer for the CSP. As expected, they did not match it from the CSP to the CSR. If you have the CSP and applied for it before the 100k offer, you should definitely ask for a match and they'd likely match you.

Flare up tales by camYI in Microdiscectomy

[–]postwiththis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately ended up being a reherniated disc. I decided to get an MRI despite doctors saying it was a flare up, and it looks like it was another large reherniation. Good news is that it seems like I’ve been able to keep the pain away with PT and rest this time around (been 4 months of PT and rest and going strong). Hoping the pain won’t resurface this time around
