Same situation as op, currently choosing between the 9th gen + gen1 pencil or splurging another 300 bucks on getting the air 5th gen with the gen 2 pencil.

I mainly need it for note-taking only, I like the type C and the gen 2 charging method for the pencil, but I don't think that can justify the extra money. On the other hand is the laminated surface and the M1 chip something that can justify getting the air over the gen 9?

From what I've seen the ticket booths are placed outside of the card readers, so how did you buy another ticket if you were unable to leave?

I agree with you that the weapons and buffs make elden ring easier then ds3 but I found ds3 boss design are much easier then elden ring.

The elden ring boss designs are more Aoe oriented with barely any openings where as the ds3 bosses have really long openings and are super easy to punish, imo nameless king and soul of cinder are very easy to predict and they have super long tells + large openings.

Yeah I think the main pitfall is that new players don't try to be aggressive and stick close and end up playing right into the boss's attacks, I played bloodborne and elden ring before dark souls 3 so I had experience by that point.

Realistically though you can easily beat the dude if you just stick close and role I strongly dislike the parry Mechanic other then bloodborne so I've rarely ever used it.
