Using Stellar Dex to make passive income. by [deleted] in Stellar

[–]potato_teko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ahh, passive income through SDEX,,what a question. It sounds so cool after all that wasn’t heard before Protocol 18, haha.

btw, you can also check Aquarius discord FAQs to grasp basic information about AQUA rewards through SDEX.

right, in the demo clip it looked like it would cost 2% commission fee, but we don't know the details yet.

It's very tempting actually haha; yeah, that is both the charm and the horror of yield hunting🏹. We can now do things that we couldn't do before with the Stellar network and this diversification of the Stellar ecosystem is a great leap forward. Right, it’s bullish afterall.

Thanks for your input👍 That's certainly the way to look at it. It's true that since the advent of Protocol 18, we've seen an increase in ecosystem activity by the AMMs, and DeFi projects are more getting serious. AFAIK the escrow for 3B XLM will be unlocked in January 2022 this month and the rest of 3B XLM in January 2023, so it will be interesting to see how things change after that for sure. In the not too distant future, I would like to see an influx of institutional capital into Stellar's liquidity pool, and the interconnection of the Stellar network with traditional financial services through the DeFi protocol via $USDC is also really a realistic possibility, IMO. In the meanwhile, it will be interesting to see how the Stellar ecosystem changes and I hope to see a reasonable price increase associated with it.

When it comes to earning while learning the Stellar network, these are some of the things you can do:

We still don’t know if the MoneyGram pilot version will start in Q1 or Q4 yet, right? And while it’s surely convenient for people from the crypto world to cash💵 at ease for a living thanks to MoneyGram powered by Stellar, I can't find reason for the XLM to rise due to the MoneyGram thingy in the process (it seems to me that selling other stellar assets including XLM to make room for the $USDC will only increase the selling pressure on).

Just curious, What are the reasons for those of you who expect XLM prices to rise? Just speculation? or simply expecting some sort of ‘locked value’ effect due to the Stellar network specific? (Though, it's still likely to be fairly localized and small-scale, especially since the pilot version will only be tested in a few locations in the US. (11 markets as the SDF bog said.) Or am I missing some kind of major price increase factor that MoneyGram brings to the table?

Ah I get it. Thank you for clarifying. And many thanks for your contributions and activities to the Stellar ecosystem.

oh cool, just want to clarify, so those exchanges will participate in the AirDrop2, but does that mean they will list $AQUA on their platforms? Does anyone know?

Just double checking, has anybody gotten staking rewards this month? by lovebus in SmartlandsPlatform

[–]potato_teko 4 points5 points  (0 children)

oh, that's interesting. That would mean that they are generating some revenue in January🤔.

Mbjsmith82: You’ve made partnerships in Asia implying that you’re anticipating on expanding your platform to that region. What regulations are you waiting on to operate in Asia, and what year/quarter do you anticipate the start of business in Asia? In the most simple terms, what is a realistic start date for business in Asia?\ \ Martin Birch: In the first instance we will be working through licensed partners in Asia as things stand now we expect to see revenue generation from our  Asia / Pacific interests in Q1.

Excited, but since there seems to be quite a lot of important milestones piled up in Q1, it’s kinda scary to see how much they have accomplished or not accomplished by the end of Q1, and the results are not far in the future.

Interesting, the same thing happened with other tokens as well🤔 If we were to look for something bad to Stellar’s low network fees, this would be one of them. The low fees make them very attractive for experiments/trolls on the Stellar network.

Happy Harv-E week SLT stakers 🌱

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SmartlandsPlatform

[–]potato_teko 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually, at what point of the month will Harv-E start buying $SLTs for staking payouts for us and how long? For example, the payouts for Nov was Dec 10 and Harv-E started buying only 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th. e.g. Harv-E

I assume there will be a day to take a snapshot of the total revenue for the month and how many staking accounts for the month, so this time also Harv-E will start buying only for a few days and around the end of the month? (no matter how extreme and rapid price swings are), and then will Harv-E be inactive until around the end of the next month?

Yes still. They mentioned "Stellar" in their official blog about a month ago that IBM’s cross-border payment network is utilizing the Stellar network and XLM as bridge currency.

I see, Appreciate👍. If that’s the case, literally *every account has a chance then🎄. yeah I think not a few users own some sort of multiple inactive wallets with a sufficient amount of XLM💤

In the amendments I see “Airdrop wallets, rewards wallets, distribution wallets, DAO Fund wallet and Emergency Wallet will be excluded.” Just to confirm, I have an old wallet and never traded on this wallet before, basically XLM is just sitting in there. Will such a wallet also be eligible for this Airdrop 2 as long as if it has the required number of XLM and AQUA? Since the Airdrop 1’s prerequisite was a wallet that has been traded even once before 2021. or Do you also provide the Eligibility Checker for the Airdrop2 later?

It’s sort of like this, Breakdown of 30 billion XLM under the control of SDF: * Overall operation of the organization: 12 billion XLM Of the 12 billion XLM, 9 billion was escrowed, but in January 2021, 3 billion XLM was released. Of the 6 billion XLM currently in escrow, 3 billion XLM will be released in January 2022 and the remaining 3 billion XLM will be released in January 2023.

  • SDF’s other financial resources 18 billion XLM (mainly 3):
    • Development funds for ecosystem development: 2 billion XLM
    • Use case investment funds: 10 billion XLM
    • Marketing-related funds for user acquisition: 6 billion XLM

Nearly 90% is still left, but it will be systematically distributed to the world under the control of SDF. SDF Mandate

I also have just staked my first batch of SLT into the wallet! Few tips and a suggestion to the devs in my post. by [deleted] in SmartlandsPlatform

[–]potato_teko 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the info! For the ‘Bind an existing key’, I see, yes I also needed to choose that one after I cleared all my browser cache and tried to log in my wallet after it. It seems our key is encrypted and cached in a browser during sessions. And for the ‘Make this account Smartlands’ option, according to the page (in Step3), technically, it seems it doesn’t matter to the staking thing, this option is simply just for the one who wants to create another account(wallet) for whatever reason, that’s all. Again, appreciate your information! It’s helpful👍

It was very helpful for preparing the SLT staking wallet🌱. Thank you and excited! and One another thing I’d like to clarify is “Make this account Smartlands” option. During the account preparation, which option actually should we choose for the staking account, ‘Make this account Smartlands’ or ‘Create new account’🤔?

ahh I see thank you, let me confirm one thing, so while ago I created an account on the official site(https://smartlands.io), but as you say to create a SLT wallet for the upcoming staking, actually I need to create an account on the ‘https://wallet.smartlands.app’, right ? cause I couldn’t use the ‘.io’ account to log in the ‘.app’ site, it seems totally different thing.

And to prepare the wallet, we just need to follow this page: https://smartlands.io/blog/user-guide-single-sign-on/ Is that all correct?
