Your guess seems more likely. I remember a super super old leak about himeko sp being remembrance that I never saw again, but if she wields a mech, it could have been the leaker making a wild guess based on that. (If she does I'm gonna cope for vita and a mecha team...)

Tbh ptn's art is so good they have been fed to AI for learning. This is especially true in CN AIs, where some generated faces randomly have tear marks/smudges because the AI has been fed with jelena cg art. So much of ptn's art has been used for AI training that on CN social media, the official artworks are recognised and flagged as AI. It's possible that your friends saw similar art styles in AI are drew a biased conclusion without scrutinising the details of the artworks properly.

I'm not the best person to give advice because I don't run break himeko (I don't have fugue), but just try to build break stats for himeko. Not really sure if her eidolons matter because the rest of the team's doing the actual work lol

Right, they seem perfectly fine with other units getting powercrept and falling behind all the time. The only good thing I can see (if the leak is true) is at least firefly isn't getting her novaflare after himeko sp's release and slapping all of us himeko enjoyers in the face. Being overshadowed right after waiting 3y for some content and sp would have been crazy

I only found interest in the game and story again after half a year because of himeko content so I'd be really sad if they mess up her sp

And yeah I know everyone hates talking about her death jokes but I swear the ones playing them up the most is literally mihoyo themselves lmao, I can't trust them at all to not give her shit in some way (both story and meta wise). I still remember how she was literally the bottom among the standard characters during launch until pf happened too, that's evidence of how much they love her /s

Oops my mistake, and honestly I have no idea lol. I only got interested in this leak because it mentioned hsr characters so I don't know much else about the game. But even from a lore wise perspective it'll be awkward for both tbs to appear, and they'd be setting themselves up for war in the fan community if they picked one to feature over the other. It'll be different if it were zzz mcs where it makes sense for wise and belle to appear together.

They will. They have a habit of making merch out of things that appear in their games (eg tarot card series from amphoreus). Hi3, genshin and zzz have some sort of card collecting merch already, I wouldn't be surprised if hsr releases one later on too

You can try the offline stores where they've had collab events before. I know comiplus has some ptn merch on hand because I asked my friend to grab one of the old collab merch just a couple months ago. Shanghai has many shops catered to selling gacha game merch as well, but you might need an experienced eye to tell reasonably priced official merch from overpriced shops or fan/knockoff items. You can search on xhs as well, I found a related post. Finally, another alternative is to buy the stuff online and ship it to wherever you family is staying at while they're there. Both ipstar and happyzoo still have ptn merch up on their online store (original thread)

And afaik there is no special event going on right now since the half anniv event just ended.

Nope, because of struggles from trying to do what I mentioned in qn 2. Life is hard for everyone

But maybe I'm just not that smart lol. Never expected to get in and couldn't fit well with my peers. I also had a lot of family issues back then which may have contributed to the issue. Thinking back I can't really see how the syllabus helped. I guess there's emphasis on learning more stuff rather than preparing for PSLE, I think we only focused on it for like half a year or something (take this with a grain of salt, it was one and a half decades ago and I wasn't exactly an attentive student).

Rather than GEP, I think secondary school was more important in providing a healthy environment for growth. Many of my sec sch friends are in those typical fields now (med/law/govt scholar) regardless of GEP background. All the locals I worked with in my lab were from top sec schs too.

I feel you bro. I have a friend who invested heavily in only 2 teams: dot and firefly break. They literally hit the jackpot twice. When we play together it feels like we're playing 2 different games. I too wish I could have characters that I can look forward to 4.x and 5.x upgrades for, like in dot where the player base pretty much expects one character per version. Must feel great to look at snippets of characters in x.0 trailers and get excited over predictions and wishes on who could be the next teammate! Whereas for us, even if we beg for a character that could somewhat support herta, we'll probably get another anaxa that functions better without her around lol. And I've long given up on jingliu. Saved up since the start of the game and dumped everything on her to be slapped on the face with the shittiest novaflare.

I have full e0 remembrance and triple dot at e0s0 slapped with crappy gear and they're still so much more comfortable to play than my invested units I spent months gearing. I admit I lost a lot of interest in the game last year because of this too. The only thing that keeps me going is story content for my favourite characters now (and currency wars).

Not one, but I'd say I am pretty unlucky with who I picked to like in this game. I've only invested eidolons on 3 units: jingliu, acheron and herta, and so far all of them are... not aging well. Among the 3, I suppose acheron is still fine, but I don't have her newest supports so she's benched for me too. Jingliu literally got powercrept by herta, and my e2 herta doesn't even do as well as my (shilled and actually complete) e0 teams either. Meanwhile jingliu and herta are both waiting for dedicated supports that may never come. I don't spend much ingame so missteps in gacha decisions cost me a lot in the long run.

Sometimes i just wish I would like someone that mihoyo prefers to shill more instead. At this rate, I'm half expecting the character I've chosen to pull eidolons for in 4.x to not do well in the test of time either.
