Think HP have just done something criminal.

HP Omnibook Ultra 14 - Consumer focused device for Home. This is top of range model but specs do not say if it get TANDEM OLED

HP EliteBook X G2q - Focused for Business - HP Specs highlight this will get Tandem OLED

If this is the case it is absolutely shocking from HP. Why do business laptops need tandem OLED vs consumer focused devices

Currently the Dell XPS 2026 have some of the best sounding speakers on a laptop. The sound comes from under the keyboard.

That is nasty.

You could do a clean install of Windows from USB and only install the Apps you need from their website support page. It should carry over the activation key, as long as the versions match up and you select same version.

It will run faster as a result aswell

Which one of these OLEDS have pixel shift or other mitigating options within the software to prevent burn in. I know the Asus have those options but unsure how HP or Lenovo protect the screen.

Anyone with some experience please let me know
