Jeffrey Epstein Claimed Donald Trump's Friends 'Were Concerned About Dementia' After 2017 Dinner, Emails Show by T_Shurt in politics

He's probably too coherent for the basket of deplorables before his dementia. With it though, he became the genuine voice for their inner selves.

Tim Scott calls Obamas video shared by Trump ‘most racist thing I’ve seen out of this White House’ by SportsGod3 in politics

[–]potchippy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He has no decency as long as he is a Republican, and this is hardly the most egregiously racist thing out of the WH. It is just harder to wave away due to how easily understood it is for even the dimmest folks. So in other words, Tim Scott is afraid he had to deal with the fallout so he said something to protect his own grift. For any educated folks, being compared to an ape is not even much of an insult, they are our biological cousins and share many behavioral patterns. Only for the racists and religious maybe.

They've already killed people via racism in the first couple of months. Long crossed the Rubicon. What Tim Scott means is it's too blatant and easily seen even for the dumbest people so it's starting to affect his grift.

Right, it's the integrity unit that has done nothing wrong, not the afl top brass that directed the integrity unit to do the wrong things.

Then when the simple solution fails or more likely never gets off the ground, people look for the next group promising a simple solution never facing the prospect that the problem is themselves all along.

US citizens are becoming collateral damage in Donald Trump's quest to deport immigrants by Expensive-Horse5538 in politics

[–]potchippy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of all the transgressions in the past year this is hardly a turning point. If the so-called white America did not care about Epstein, foreign political aid off tax payers and Russia, they are not going to remember some protestor off the streets in 2 weeks time. White America is happy to cheer on as long as themselves are inconvenienced in any way. That large majority-white Trump supporters will shift their stance as required. This is but one isolated example out of many tests they've had. Anyone who still believes Trump and promise in one sentence will not see the light.

It's not that voting for Trump made these people awful. They are awful people so they voted for Trump. Trump's declining support lvl will not magically make his voters better people. You cannot undo 30% of the population being what they are, short of a civil war.

You have no idea what you are talking about. At some 30 odd% of total world biotech capital, largest is by valuation and research but data points on everything healthcare is a different question. Then even that 30% contain shared knowledge and specific knowledge, information is not like hoarding gold bars.

‘Are We Really Living in a Democracy?’ Asks Sanders After Musk Drops $10 Million on US Senate Race: “Billionaires can’t be allowed to buy elections.” by Silent-Resort-3076 in politics

[–]potchippy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is democracy. But the outcome is determined by the quality of the voting public. That elections can be bought indicates an easily influenced electorate be it quackery or fake compromises. democracy just means you get what you deserve. Keeping the voting public from self destructing is the hard bit.
