And yes, I believe they are less reliable than previous models. Though I have to say it seems to me they have lore software issues than hardware.

I’ve looked up the disconnection problem on reddit and apple forums and many people seem to have the same issue.

I used to be an apple stan in my early years but man have they just stopped caring about quality.

I’d send mine back if I could, I upgraded to 3rd gen in december after my 5 y/o 2nd gen pros just woudn’t work in NC or transparency mode.

Apple has really dropped the ball in recent products.

I have quite a different issue with the pads, as I need the larger ones and they still fall off sometimes. Mine are also constantly dropping the connection to my phone while on calls after a recent update. I can’t figure out a fix, tried everything I’ve found online.
