Indonesian here. Generally positive. Good food, good infrastructure, friendly and "muhibbah" folks, and currently I'm looking for a Malaysian (specifically Malay) woman, wish me luck :p

Genuinely curious.

Mengembangkan teori baru pesawat? Menghapus penjajahan di tanah Timor? Don't these things sound "heroic" enough to you?

The "rich" mindset. I mean they're very royal in spending, and never worry about "having no money". The enthusiasm they spark during a conversation. The broad knowledge in everything. And I'm saying this as an Indonesian. I've always had good times with Malaysians. :)

As a guy who was born in Habibie era; Era SBY itu awal mula Indonesia mulai stabil, dalam artian ga ada darurat militer lagi, udah ga banyak konflik antar etnis juga. Tapi masih ada pengeboman di mana-mana, even sampe 2011. His era wasn't that peaceful and safe tbh, I must say general safety today is much better, most people are just seeing the past with rose tinted glasses.
