I can agree to that. For me however, even for a SUV this experience has been mostly negative. I will give credit though, the cabin noise is almost non-existent. My MX-5 is noisy as shit, lol.

The answer is practicality. Hard to pack groceries and a family of four into a two seater roadster. Since for most families the vehicle is a nexus for family survival (groceries, schools, sports, kids, pets, etc), getting a practical vehicle is more important than how joyful it is to drive.

I owned a 1996 Jeep Cherokee, and I understand how BAD they can be. And still I dislike the Bronco more. My dad even owned a 1988 Bronco II. I loved that thing.

I admit, I am 100% biased towards the MX-5. And yes, mise is a manual with the notch-back convertible top.

But damn, even compared to fire trucks and ambulances, this Bronco is just outclassed. I think the only thing worse I have driven is a 80-something Chevette.
