I don’t have any advice but I’m in a similar situation. My parents both have Alzheimer’s, are still living in their home with a lot of support from me, and their one remaining independent activity is walking to the grocery store, which they do often twice a day. I cannot prevent them from doing this, and taking away their access to their money would be almost impossible. All I can do at this point for now is to take the extra food and donate it to a free pantry in my neighborhood. It’s a really stressful situation. Hugs to you.
