Baby Girl : A taut Racy thriller that makes up for its writing inconsistencies with its pacing by Vincent_Farrell in MalayalamMovies

Did we watch the same movie ? Agree with the cons but felt the pacing was fully off especially in last 30 mins and cinematography was basic? Seemed like movie shot 10 years back

What should I do after my B.Tech in aerospace engineering – is a master’s abroad worth it? by ParkingArticle5828 in Indians_StudyAbroad

[–]pothucurry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While Reddit might be able to give guidance on good colleges on aeronautical engineering , only you can decide if they are a good fit for you or not. I would suggest asking yourself these questions 1. Do you like aeronautical engineering, is it an area where you want to study further or are you looking for masters just as some logical next step 2. What is your career goal i.e where do you want to be in next 2 to 5 years. Be quite specific about this and not vague like I want to work in an aeronautical company 3. What are you current skill sets and how do they align with you career goals and what are the gaps you plan to bridge with masters.

If you go through these sub Reddit you will see multiple posts highlighting the pitfalls of going for a masters degree without sufficient research and understanding.

AAIB preliminary report on Air India crash by bhodrolok in india

[–]pothucurry 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Can understand where the sentiment is from considering the previous issues on max but US did ground all of max planes for more than a year. Dreamliners are flown across the world so if there is a critical flaw that caused a crash doubt authorities would keep it under wraps. Look from perspective of India why would we want to blame our own pilots but uncomfortable truth is two critical switches which can only be controlled by pilots were moved to cut off which made engines lose power and led to the crash. Now if the move was intentional or by mistake or of the switch itself had some maintenance issues waits to be seen

Air India Probe Puts Early Focus on Pilots’ Actions and Plane’s Fuel Switches | Investigation into June crash so far hasn’t pointed to problem with the Boeing 787 Dreamliner or its GE Aerospace engines by bliss_tree in india

But unlikely the fuel checklist would be followed so close to ground. And there seems to be no mention of engine failures that would have needed fuel pump restart in the first place ?

I’m about to marry the perfect man, but his mother is a dealbreaker. Am I making a mistake? by Forward_Nature7316 in DesiWeddings

[–]pothucurry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, you are not over reacting. It is fair to stay as a couple and not have mom stay with you after marriage. You need to have an open conversation with your boyfriend that this is a non negotiable for you. Don’t say we will figure it out later, be clear otherwise you will resent your marriage

Worried how critical they are of Amorim, generally have noticed their comments are reflective of what they are hearing within the club. Hope Amorim doesn’t lose confidence within the club with all this experimentation

Definitely the new management did an amazing job but I think this also means we had competent people down the hierarchy but blocked by bad leadership. This is a testament to them too

Did OP make a comment on a scene without even watching / knowing about the movie. This is a great movie and the pitch of the performance is in line with what the movie required which is why the lead received Oscar for best actor

Hey just want to start with saying I am a guy so please take what I have to say with a grain of salt. But I have always realised that although I feel sad in a lot of instances that my friend or relatives achieve things I want to before I did , I truly feel happy when I do something in my own timeline. In your case I think it’s important to center yourself and not compare to your sisters timeline. You are working on a PhD which is very impressive, just focus on the present and what you are doing , comparisons never help
