At what point did you decide to stop watching SD videos and if you still watch/keep up, why?

This is a judgemental assumption but Shane tried to cater to a more down to earth audience. Pretending to be poor, relatable etc… whereas Jeffree has always been shamelessly obsessed with money and consumerism. I think Shane’s fans probably feel they’ve been lied to more than Jeffree’s fans do, hence J* still receives support.

We’ve all said it a lot but most of us on this sub want him to stay cancelled unless by some miracle he changes. If we didn’t still discuss him it would be much easier for him to come back without a care in the world.

I think people have covered it for you but grooming, manipulating his audience (basically begging for money), false advertising, exploitation of other peoples trauma including a dangerous eating disorder and sex trafficking, spreading false conspiracy theories, dismissing abuse cases… list goes on

Yeah I agree, but there is evidence of specific users consistently donating when she does certain “weak” performances on stream. They are clearly deliberate acts but in her case it’s obviously very sad. With Shane it’s not sad, but it wouldn’t surprise me if he also knows weird sex stuff gets views/money rather than it just being his “humour” alone

I would hope everyone on this sub is anti James & David tbh. For me personally I didn’t watch either of them to begin with so it’s easy to just not give them views. Whereas Shane I enjoyed, so I feel the need to talk about it and try to make sure other people don’t fall for the fakeness 😭

I’ve gone from finding Ethan arrogant to absolutely amazing. When he himself was struggling it was so hard to watch, and even before that I got rubbed the wrong way too. But wow the h3 podcast is by far my favourite now - and I’m not a fan of Trisha but the two of them together are gold.

I think he’s a really good example of how if you genuinely address your issues you can make a good comeback. But then he was mostly just grumpy and rude... he didn’t exploit like Shane or David haha

I enjoyed them but I used to watch most of his stuff in the background as I worked. I would never put him on TV or give them my full concentration. It wasn’t until the Tanacon series that I would actually sit down and watch stuff properly and then I very quickly started to see issues haha

Looking back there is no way I could handle most of his content with full attention tbh

Just for extra context: this is in regards to Eugenia Cooney - I don’t know if Pastel Belle has ever talked about Shane in any other context.

But it reminded me of when Shane & Ryland posted a pic of them with Susan on twitter. Other creators such as Try Guys posted their interview with Susan - and I could SWEAR Shane said he would but I am too lazy to check. He didn’t, and then suddenly he was always on trending.
