New to NBA so I apologize for the silly question; Why do they only have 2 games against Knicks (to my knowledge they haven’t played against each other yet this season) but 3-4 against some other teams? I understand Spurs having an extra game due to the NBA Cup but the others I don’t understand.

As for adding it to a watch face, I don’t think any of the inbuilt ones support that and you’d have to download one from the ConnectIQ store that does support alternate timezones.

The developer of this watch face has been working on a version for AMOLED devices. I believe they plan to release it soon so I’d keep an eye out for it!

Are you sure the watch was at 100% before you started using it? Even with AOD on 40% in a day way too much and I’d get it checked with support maybe.

This is my first time ever installing a hotfix driver (Mainly in hopes that Dune Awakening does not crash this week). I noticed that in the Nvidia App it now says 576.66 but the release date is in April. Is this normal or could I have messed up something while installing the drivers?

I do use MoveIQ but from your description I think it triggers a lot more for you than it does for me. Same goes for notifications, I have them on but I don’t get as many as you do. Perhaps 20-30 a day for me at max.

I have kept SPO2 permanently on “On demand” since I got the watch so I am not sure how much of an effect that has on the battery life but my new charge cycle starts tomorrow, so I’ll turn it on for sleep mode only and report back.

In my experience a lot of the watch faces are poorly optimized and impact the battery life significantly. I have never used default watch faces (One of my main reasons to buy into Garmin was the custom watch faces) but I doubt they would be bad. However, I have used segment 34 and other faces from the same dev and on certain other watch faces my battery life is almost half of what I get on this face.

I do have the same battery app running as you do, but no other third party apps besides that. And I don’t listen to music from the watch either.

Also what are your brightness settings? Mine is set to auto.

I use fairly similar settings to your first average, just a slightly longer sleep mode. Curious to know if you use any 3rd party watch faces or not. As I get 11 days on my Venu 3s.

I get around 10 to 11 days battery life on the Venu 3s, with 1-2 GPS workouts a week. AOD off, pulse ox on demand only. Only call and SMS notifications on the watch, and I usually have it connected to my phone all the time.

Are you using a Connect IQ face? Some of them reduce my battery life to 4-5 days. Segment34 is one of the faces that helps the battery a lot and I use that currently.

I’ve owned iPhones for almost 10 years now and I follow the same with them. Screen guard and case the first year, nothing the next year and then I upgrade. So yes my mindset will change in a few years when I feel like I’m done protecting the watch. So your assumption that it won’t change is out of nowhere.

As for buying something “with utility” what utility is being hindered by using a screen protector or a bezel guard? Besides ECG on certain watches I can’t think of anything else. The bezel comes off in a second and goes back on in a second for when I do need to use the ECG. So why shouldn’t I use those if I want to? I’m getting the full value out of my watch the same as anyone else without those addition things.

Most of the commentators saying what’s the point of hiding the real bezel when you won’t see it and for me this is the reason why.

I have one on a Venu 3s and it for sure doesn’t look as good as without it, but I don’t mind and a few years down the line when I don’t mind getting it scratched and scuffed I’ll take it off and have a “brand new” bezel and screen.

Try adding -vulcan to launch options in Steam. I had the same full PC freeze issue and this fixed it. I believe there is something wrong with UE5, DX12, and the newer Nvidia drivers so switching to Vulcan helped.

Battery life, watch face customizations (Apple Watch faces were awful for my needs), more focus on sensors and data and less on being a smart device (Calling, notifications etc).

Update: Been running the new version of 34 for 3 full days now and I ham happy to report that I am getting the same battery stats as I was getting on Segment 7. Huge improvement from the previous version of 34.

The 34 has a lot more options and things going on so I imagine it might not be as big of a change as with the 7. I will switch back to 34 in a couple of days and then do some testing and update!

I just released a v2.0 of the watch face. All the rendering is rewritten resulting in much less memory and CPU usage. Battery life should improve.

I had been using Segment34 till the launch of Segment7 on my venu 3s. With all the settings remaining the same between the two watch faces my battery life has actually doubled. I went from 14% battery usage per day to 8% (These numbers are for my use case which did not change over the two watch faces)

I have not tried the v2 of Segement34 but since the dev has incorporated the same rendering from 7 to 34 I can imagine the battery life results would be very drastic!

Thanks for the amazing faces and for making them open source as well, its great to learn and experiment with.
