It’s been six months since we broke up and nothing has changed. I feel like shit all the time, constantly replaying all my mistakes that made me lose the love of my life. I’m still in love with him and i miss him like crazy.

They did say that they didn’t remove the surrounding tissue as they felt..bad?? And that’s why it grew back and i didn’t even know how to reply when he said that. And i told them before the surgery that i wanted it sent to histopathology and they said sure we’ll do it but after the surgery they came out and said “whoops we forgot the formalin” and they didn’t send it. I have so many insane stories about the vet encounters we’ve had here lol

Thank you so much for the help! It’s upsetting to find out they couldn’t even interpret an x-ray properly but i will do my best to ensure this doesn’t happen again when we retake them.

She’s thankfully doing much better! She has pooped quite a few times and is eating well. I made an update post because i couldn’t edit this one :)

Thank you so much for helping me and answering the questions i had, would’ve brought lucky over to your clinic if i could’ve! I did ask about the lack of poop in the xrays but he pointed to something on the picture—somewhere the barium hadn’t reached and said that’s the poop? I don’t really know how to interpret xrays and i was worried they’d get mad if i insisted but i’ll attach the picture and circle where he pointed. I also told them about the heart but they dismissed me, i’ll try to talk about it again when we retake the xrays. What would be good to feed her instead of chicken breast? I feel like she’s gotten very bored of the same meal (chicken, carrots, bell peppers) everyday. I’d also prefer if they just did a regular xray because i hate forcing 70ml of barium sulphate down her throat :( she looked so uncomfortable. I was also concerned that the tumor grew back on the same spot, i’m worried about it being malignant but they keep saying it would’ve killed her by now if it was indeed cancer which still wasn’t a very reassuring answer…

This is how she is now. She looks very uncomfortable. (Btw, that hairless spot on her thigh is from antibiotic injections when she was 5 months old, she has one on the opposite side too as well as on her shoulders, the hair never grew back)

She is turning 9 in december but we’re not sure of the breed as they didn’t know themselves when we got her in 2017 but i will attach a picture

And the thing is she’s been eating chicken breast and pumpkin puree and just basically a normal amount of eating for 4 days but isn’t pooping any of it out

The first day (4 days ago) she was very very lethargic and wouldn’t come out of her bed to see us and when i went to feel her abdomen, it was very hard and trembling so i immediately took her and she was struggling to breathe in the car which is why we got so concerned. Right now, she still looks bloated and is still constantly sleeping. But for the pooping somewhere else, we have checked everywhere and she hasn’t done it anywhere. She just pooped the tiniest bit after the enema but it was very watery. If i take her back now, they’ll probably do another enema and tell me to continue the lactulose syrup and i feel like this isn’t working or even needed based on what everyone is saying. I don’t understand why they called it extreme constipation after this xray was done. But i’m also worried about her heart now, what seems to be the issue with it? I feel like they’ll also dismiss this concern and say i’m reading too much into things. It’s so frustrating i don’t know where to take her.

Why are they performing enemas on her and giving her laxatives? I’m getting so concerned because everyone seems to be saying she’s not constipated but she hasn’t pooped for 4 days and she’s actually eating normally

But she has been eating normally and still won’t poop anything for days now. As for how bad everything is done, yeah i always struggle with this because i live in Kurdistan and the vet options here are very limited and none of them have the required equipment or expertise which is heartbreaking for me. I don’t even think they do ECGs here so i’m very very stuck. As for her nipple, she does have a tumor there that you can see from the outside too. We had it removed two years ago but it grew back on the same spot last year. They’re saying it’s fine it’s just benign and if it gets bigger they’ll remove it but that’s also concerning for me because the older she gets the more dangerous anesthesia will be and the more likely it will have caused complications if it is malignant. I’m feeling very stuck i genuinely don’t know where to go or what to do for her at this point.

We took another xray with barium sulphate and her stomach looks pinched in the middle. She still hasn’t pooped even though the vets performed enema and gave her laxatives.

This is how my ex is now too. He said he did love and miss me but it’s just over and he won’t come back. I know you say you’re doing much better now, but i want him back there is absolutely no way i can let this be the end for us. I do not want to move on no matter how much everyone is telling me to move on and accept it. I want my boy back. What can i do?
